Separate attacks killed or wounded 13 civilians in Afghanistan on Saturday, the interior ministry said.

A mine exploded in the Nawa district of the southern Helmand province, killing three civilians. Another mine explosion there killed three others and wounded two, the ministry said.

In the Enjel district of the western Herat province, another mine blast wounded five children, the ministry said.
