Palin: 'Second Holocaust' if Iran gains nuclear weapons

Just minutes after the clock expired on the first day of the Jewish holy day of Passover, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin issued a biting critique of the Obama administration's Middle-East policy via her Facebook page.

In a post entitled "Peace Not Possible if Iran Escapes Real Sanctions," Palin accuses President Obama of dropping the pursuit of "crippling" sanctions against Iran and treating Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu like an "unwelcome guest" during a recent visit to Washington.

"[J]ust as the Obama administration inexplicably gives up on imposing crippling sanctions on Iran, it's taken an uncompromising hard line against one country in the Middle East: Israel," Palin writes. "On his recent visit to Washington, the Israeli Prime Minister was treated like an unwelcome guest, as shown by White House actions such as refusing to be photographed with Israel's Prime Minister."

Palin argues that the Obama administration's actions have failed to rein in Tehran's nuclear ambitions, and that more than one year into Obama's presidency, his administration has made "no progress" on sanctions.

"The Obama administration has their priorities exactly backwards; we should be working with our friend and democratic ally to stop Iran's nuclear program, not throwing in the towel on sanctions while treating Israel like an enemy."

Who in their right mind wants to hear what unintelligent remark Pallin has to say this time. She knows nothing about Hiroshima and that we were responsible for that holcaust. Funny how we can never remember that fact, maybe thats how Iran sees it. She seems more cut out for fishing, and should stick with it.

I cannot for the life of me come to a rational reason in the world why McCain choose to dumb himself down by even associating with Pallin. Or perhaps I can, they must be two of a kind. They should fish togther, Like THE SKIPPER AND MARYANNE, and sail away.

Palin is way out of line and does not know what she is talking about. As usual she shows her ignorance by making mindless statements like this. Only consider the source and we must all agree that she keep her mouth shut and and get back to her fishing duties. She is a very poor example of what our political system has turned into. I do agree once again that Isreal will be called again to do the dirty work. But that is what give them billions of dollars each year in aid to do.

The worst thing US will do is to loose the confidence of their closest ally Isreal, because they will definetly need them in the middle east.As it stands now, is only Isreal who can stop Iran from having this nuclear weapon as US is displaying her weakness at the moment. I know that, it will not be too long.

I wonder who is coaching her..I think Miss Plain is making a big mistake by taking everything she gets from her erstwhile speechwriters. She still has a long way to go before she can make such judgments. I can only thank god that this woman is not running the government.. I am sorry, but you are wrong. The president is doing all that he can to strike a balance. he cannot afford to take a hardline with anyone if he hopes to win poeples heart on both sides of the devide. by pointing out Israle's shortfall and getting China and the EU to look at it from his perspective he is in fact tighting the noose around Iran's nuclear ambitions. Can you appreciate the stupidity of announcing fresh constructions and at the same time holding peace talks brokered by the US?..even Israle accepts that it was amistake..and didnt you hear secretary clinton categorically state that Israle was a US ally?..please stop..this is not your backyard and your not addressing a tea conference..your just putting 'yer foot in your moth everytime" and believe me..i can only say 'Yolanda"stfu!!..jeez..i'm sorry..but i know the republicans can do better than this.. If every prom queen can run for VP..then god, i hope that they make sure that beauty comes with brains..and i'm trying to be nice here..i seriously grit my teeth everytime i have to listen to this horshit coming from you..for god's sake..IS this the best that the republicans can come up with?.jesus wept!

I never thought I'd ever agree about anything with Sarah Palin, but her advisers made her take a very courageous and difficult position.

It seems people can change after all. Congratulations Ms. Palin for taking a strong stand!

genocide against the jews wre only committed by Europeans. Arabs and jews were living as neighbors in the same lands before the creation of the zionist state. If iran has nuke, it wont be a holocaust but a deterrent for western powers to invade and steal its resources. If palin or mccain gain power, it will be holocaust for muslims

If Israel and Iran get at eachothers in a nuclear conflict or any other conflict, it will be good riddance for both, Believe me the world will be much better without both of them, and for that particular area of the Middle-East.

Can we get more pathetic? How could anyone take Palin seriously with respect to foreign policy. I'll bet she couldn't even find Iran on the map. Give me a break!

The President of the United States Of America cannot alone cannot appply sanctions to Iran. This must be done by other countries who are willing to apply sanctions, which none of them want to apply. For too long Israel has not heeded the recommendations of it best friend America. We cannot be talking peace with Israeli and the Palestinians and at the same time turn and look the other side when Israel commit acts that inflame the other side. Diplomacy is the best answer to all of this not bombs and missiles. Miss Palin is not the right choice to lead this country, maybe when she can give anunscripted interview or an interview where the the questions are not known and answer the questions like someone with an array of knowledge then maybe she can run for president.

Wow, lot's of haters here. American haters.
The Obama admnistration is a joke. While I could care less about Ms 'god guns and lipstick', she still makes a couple of valid points.
Ahmadinejad is a madman. He should be taken out back and shot like the dog he is.
I'm rapidly developing the same feelings for muslims in general. Yep, infidel. That's me.
And for the love of god, quit letting people vote that don't pay taxes. We end up with ... this mess.

I'm no apologist for Palin but she seems to have as have a better understanding of Middle Eastern affairs than some spouting uninformed opinions in this blog. To the naive and obviously misguided I say, better to educate yourselves on the subject before shooting off the mouth. Start by reading Ahmadinijad's press releases over, say, the past five or ten years. That alone should dispel ideas that he (and Iran) is just a poor misunderstood baby and the Jews are the evil aggressors. If Ahmadinijad's hateful and ominous rantings about wiping the Jews off the earth aren't enough, read some of many books on the subject such as Joel Rosenburg's 'Epicenter.' God save us from mush-headed liberal thinkers who somehow believe that bullies can ever be appeased. Unless the Obama administration reverses its current incoherent policy drift history might record that it was as much a destabilizing factor in Middle Eastern relationships as the principles themselves.

Palin has every right to speak....for those of you claiming she lost her right to speak out, i guess you feel that the first amendment only applies to you? I especially love the comment how it took her 6 years to get her degree....did ya know it takes a lot of current college students 5 years...and that is with out working full time, being a mother and taking care of a home, so 6 years is pretty dang impressive.

What is also amazing is how people are claming on this blog that Isreal is the Palistinians homeland? that is like saying that all the illegal aliens in america have a right to be here because this is their homeland. The so called palistinians are also known as squaters who went to Isreal in the hopes of taking over and once again displacing the jews.
