Nicollette Sheriden is suing the creator of "Desperate Housewives."

Here’s a quick glance at the collective consciousness of the Web on Friday:

Nicollette Sheriden - Fans of the show "Desperate Housewives" are reacting strongly online to the news that Nicollette Sheridan is suing the show's creator, saying he hit her in the face on the set and that she was then fired in retaliation for complaining about him. Sheridan, whose character was killed off the show last year, is suing for $20 million, alleging assault and battery, gender violence and wrongful termination.

Elian Gonzalez - His name adorned millions of articles in 1999 when he was found floating off the Florida coast and controversy ensued when he taken by his relatives to Miami and then eventually returned to Cuba. In 2008 CNN reported that he had joined Cuba's Communist Youth Union (Watch video here) and today people are buzzing now that a new photo of Gonzales in a military unit has hit the Web.

Chris Klucsaritis - Wrestling fans are mourning the death of Christopher Klucsaritis, who wrestled under the name Chris Kanyon, and passed away over the weekend in New York, according to World Wrestling Entertainment. Klucsaritis was under contract with WWE from March 2001 to February 2004, and won the United States Championship from Booker T during this time, in July of 2001.
