Obama says economy shows significant improvement

President Barack Obama said Wednesday that there was significant improvement and stabilization in the U.S. economy, but more needed to be done to address high unemployment, a soft housing market and small business concerns.

    Let's really boost this economy by allowing citizens to pay off their existing credit card debt at the same rate that the banking industry pays for its funds via the fed reserve
    discount window. No more Reaganesque usary rates.

    PLUS, reduce compensation for ALL public employees (including retirees) by an across the board 20% PLUS the complete elimination of COLA in Alaska, Hawaii, and everywhere else.

    It is time to roll back the gravy train to a level that can be POSSIBLY sustained.

    Enough is enough!

    economy mabye.... foreclosure not really, bank lending , not happening... we bailed these sob's out and they wont give me a loan ? you really screwed this up obama... boo hoo for the auto industry, the banks, healthcare... youve wasted 750 billion dollars man ! unfreakin believeable. you and all of the old senile idiots in congress are FIRED ! this country is going down the crapper and youre selling books. gates and the rest of the govt are spending very wastefully.... you are not showing good stewardship of the taxpayers money... we all should not have to pay taxes for at least 2 years after you dumped 750 billion on these bamks and automakers man, seriously..... what rock did they find you under.
