Palestinian killed in clash with Israeli forces

Israeli forces said Friday they killed a Palestinian gunman who was trying to plant an explosive near a security fence in northern Gaza Strip.

The gunman was spotted in the area, and security forces saw the man throw a hand grenade, an Israeli Defense Forces statement said.

Security forces fired at the man, killing him, security officials said.

This incident comes just days after two Palestinians were killed in central Gaza in an exchange of gunfire with the Israeli army. Troops said they saw the men trying to plant explosives.

"The presence of Palestinian civilians in the area adjacent to the security fence in Gaza is used by terrorist organizations as cover for their activities, including planting explosive devices" the IDF said in a statement. "For this reason, the IDF considers this a combat zone."

One more time we see criminal actions perpetrated by the state of Israel. Terrorism is the politics of the state of Israel, under international law.Colective punishment its called.

If they are planting "bombs" it is done in Palestine territory and no israeli can be harm by it unless they came in to demolish houses or kill another Rachel Carrey, an American citizen.

How long have the palestinian can wait , while the world watch by live television how they are murdered by the national-zionist (NAZIS) politic leadership of Israel?

The title should read: Palestinian man attempts to kill Israeli soldiers. Why is it portrayed as though they simply killed a Palestenian?

Don't let the name fool you...This is not the same israel of the bible. Zionists have hijacked judaism just like al quida has hijacked islam. Just because they call it israel does not make it theirs.

May I ask, are not the Israelis and Palestinians children of the same ancient father. I think Abraham, Hagar, and Sarai should come back and discipline their children and have them shake hands and get along. However on a modern note the Jewish people were slaughtered from 1939-45, came back to their homeland and attacked in 1948, 1967, and 1970. I could not blame Israel for doing extra for defending itself. It would almost be like blaming the Americans for destroying Hanover and Tokyo killing hundreds of thousands of civilians, but working to end the Nazi and Japanese regimes. I believe the Palestinian people need to control the militants and stay away from the Israel, don't fire over the borders and live in peace. And Jordan, Syria, Egypt, Libya, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia need to pitch in economically and provide jobs and education to their Muslim brothers and help lift them out of poverty– dedicate a couple of super tanker's cargo a year to the Palestinians and build their country economically and help them be independent of Israel.

The Palestinian/Isreali conflict has been a contetious issue in the Int'l system.Since the establishment of the Nation of Isreal in 1948 by the UN, the region has known no peace. The very day a peace treaty would be signed between these waring paties, then we should know that it is a strong fulfillment of God's prophecy.

These Arab invaders, maniacs, bloodthirsty murderers fill the world with their LIES. The Land of Israel belongs to Israel, not to anyone else. There is only one Jewish state, and if you are not Jewish or know history, it is the guarantor that there will be never again a Holocaust, a genocide of Jews in our world.
NOTHING justifies terrorism, NOTHING, If a single terrorist is in a crowd of civilians, well guess what, that one is a dead man, and since people obviously are complacent if not already extremely colloborative with the so called Filastines, its war, and unfortunately there will always be civilian casualties. Collective punishment is well deserved, I have no idea why Israel's spineless treasonous government doesn't just bulldoze and carpet bomb them and expel their evil illegitimate claim to our land.
Every member of Hamas, PLO, Islamic Jihad, Al-Qaeda, Hezbollah, etc. NEEDS TO BE DEAD. THIS IS A WAR OF GOOD AGAINST EVIL, AND IT IS CRUEL TO THE MERCIFUL TO PUT UP WITH INSANITY.

The 2 state paradigm is BANKRUPT. The Arabs already occupy 80% of the land promised by the TREACHEROUS BRITS, its called Jordan. Another Arab land grab, these "Filastines" are the only refugees recognized by the UN for their 2nd, 3rd or more generations. Did any of the 850,000 Jews who were expelled from the Arab world wh have lived before Islam or Christianity get any COMPENSATION, ANY LAND, ANY JUSTICE? No! It is LIES AND PROPAGANDA that these scumbag Arabs use to try to de-legitimize Israel. There is no "West Bank" it is Judea and Samaria, open any unbiased encyclopedia, history or the Tanakh and see the truth, Jews have lived herre for 3500+ years.
