A tornado watch was in effect in the Texas panhandle early Friday after at least three twisters ripped through the area.
Two of the twisters hit near Goodnight and one more hit near Jericho on Thursday evening, said Alvin Preston, a spokesman for the Armstrong County Sheriff's Office.
Amateur footage of the twister near Goodnight showed a large funnel cloud that reached from the sky to the ground tearing across the rural area.
There were no reports of injuries or damage, Preston said.
The tornado watch for parts of Texas and western Oklahoma was in effect until 4 a.m. CT (5 a.m. ET).
