Fire erupts at U.S. embassy in Pakistan

A fire broke out Sunday on the first floor of the U.S. embassy building in the Pakistani capital, officials said.

The cause of the blaze was unknown, but crews were close to putting it out, according to an embassy spokesman.

It was unclear whether there were any casualties. No more information was immediately available.

    We've poured far too much money (that we don't have) into Pakistan supporting the government. We exit and change our strategy to one of containment, not intervention.

    The opinions that we create of our relationship with pakistan is based on the limited knowledge we have with regard to US relations with that country. We are presumptuous in our opinions. We don't know the whole truth & probably will not until someone writes a book 20 years from now.....We comment on some truth & propaganda.

    Ok now seriously who is the idiot who said illegal immigration is ok....not only are we saying America can become Mexico II, instead of America the melting pot, but we have given cart blanche to every extremist in the globe to come through Mexico and Canada and blow up our buildings, or times square disrupt and try to kill in a marathon, abduct our people , as in done Pheonix and the Mexioc drug cartel.     NO guyz, u r so wrong.. Pakistan is the peaceful state and having all ethical, down to earth and humanity approach.. we either don't like this kind of destruction because it cost a lot to us.
    Yes, it is true that there are few people who have their own religion, own belief and its not a part of Pakistan. Because our religion forbid us to do criminal and terrorist activities. Bt media enforce again an again that Pakistan is behind all that. one thing that i want to tell the whole world is that we are the same people like you are. we have children, mothers, fathers , siblings etc.. we do care about each other . so how can we do such illegal and worst activities.. these are other people and i will really appreciate if u people stop blaming on Pakistan at large.
    You have no ideas hows bad image is in the world. but we are honest, loyal and ethical people.
