Five headless bodies found near Acapulco

Police in Mexico's Guerrero state are investigating the killings of five men found decapitated near the resort town of Acapulco, authorities said Saturday.
The men were between 20 and 30 years old and were found in a car in the region of Costa Grande in the subdivision of Tamarindo, less than 3 miles from Acapulco, Guerrero state police officer Jorge Tellez told CNN.

All five showed signs of torture and their bodies were riddled with bullets, police said.

Three of the men were killed Friday, investigators said. They did not know when the other two died.

All were Mexicans, according to Guerrero state public security and civil protection spokesman Arturo Cuellas.

Three of the victims were identified as Jonathan Gomez Tellez, Jose Pastor Valencia and Osiris Villanueva Vargas. Police are working to determine the identities of the two others.

Guerrero state police said they did not know the motive of the killings.

Guerrero is in southern Mexico and is contentious territory for drug cartels. The state is near a major drug trafficking artery for such drugs as cocaine, which flow through Central America from Peru and Colombia.

Why close the borders? Our greatest enemies, prejudice and ignorance, are already in the United States, probably more so than in any other country. It will be the end of all of us because the hatred and killing will increase until we kill each other off. It's simply nothing but man's inhumanity to man. Who do you people think you are to judge as you do? I am ashamed of people in my own country.

this is the best proof of why we need to enforce secure borders and fiercely restrict illegal immigration of Mexican nationals. Bravo Governor Brewer and Arizona for leading the fight to protect the U.S.

comment to # 45. In the comment that you stated was a very true and powerful statement b/c the true answer is indeed in your comment which was to get in touch with the person mind and see what kind of family history is behind or in front of that person and than helped that person with love and other reasons to turn away from a criminals life, and turn into a more joyful and fullfilling life of happiness by showing that person that love is more better than crimes behind bars... oh. yes,we can.. as a nation together in love... in jesus's name!... Thanks!!!

How do you have time to read and post? It's Saturday night, surely your 'homies' will impose strict gang-sanctioned punishment that you aren't on your corner earning. Or did you post from your cell block during computer-access-time?

Here's the thing...People in US are crazy because they get stressed out. Mexicans are just crazy because they are greedy and will do anything to live a better life, instead of working for it.

If it wasn't for hispanics the drug trade would stop.

Wow – for a nation of Christians, the USA sure presents itself as a nation of heartless monsters. Celebrating the deaths of people with utter callousness. Puffing up with arrogant pride because of where you happened to be born. Pointing fingers and embracing racist and xenophobic ideologies. Is this the great nation we all hear you bragging about all the time? What a hate-filled cesspool. Try to find a little compassion, as I have for you considering the miserable life you must live with hearts so full of hate. What is it that causes it? All that fast food and bad television and cheap alcohol? Or maybe it is the drugs themselves, so in demand in the USA, even though it is that very demand that has created the carnage so rampant south of the border. Good luck America – you are going to need it with such a massive population of creeps.

Re-read the article, and don't include the last paragraph. How much of THAT sounds like it was related to drugs?

    Yeah, support Arizona.
    1) We should stop everybody to make it look legal first and ask for papers. put up road blocks going into Arizona.
    2) Then we should make everybody wear a symbol on their arm so we know who everybody is.
    3) Then we should round up the ones with a certain armband and put them in Jails.

Is this familiar to anybody out there??? Nazism, maybe?

Do your homework, look up the facts. Arizona, Texas, New Mexico, & California were part of Mexico long before it was the U,S. Look up how the U.S. was supposed to protect Mexican nationals at the time of the treaty, then had their land taken away.

I can truly say that if your skin color is white, you are the ones who are illegal, your ancestors had to cross an ocean to get here.

Not every Mexican is a drug dealer to any moron who thinks so. In case you haven't kept up with the news, innocent children and women have also died. I suppose the 8 y/o who was killed recently worked for the cartel also? What you need to understand, this is a form of imtimidation and control. If you can scare people enough, then they will turn a blind eye. FYI- I am Mexican and not a drug dealer. Believe it or not, I even have a college degree and work for the government.
