Suspicious vehicle causes brief scare in NYC

A suspicious vehicle with two gas canisters caused a brief scare in New York City late Thursday, police said.

An employee at Con Edison, an utility company located at 4 Irving Place, called 911 after noticing a four-door Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera with the canisters in the back seat, authorities said.

At around 11:55 p.m. ET, a police robot was used to X-ray the vehicle and to blow out the windows, so members of the bomb squad could look inside.

Authorities were able to track down the vehicle's owner through the license tag. The owner told police he had the gas cans in the car because he mows lawns for relatives.

The Con Edison building and two nearby apartment buildings were evacuated as a precaution.

@Doug. You want help on the creation question? I can do that. God never created robots that is just a dumb question. So throw that one in the backseat cause it's pointless. He gave humans the ability to learn, and utilize the resources he created. He chose to gave us free will, a brain, and the ability to choose whether to accept him or not. Answer me this, does everything originate from something? If so, there has to be some point where everything starts. There has to be at some point a super-intellect, or God, that started it. Thus creation. What's your philosophy because I'm currently at a point that I can't tell what you believe to be truth.
