NORAD: U.S. jets intercept ultralight plane from Mexico

Two F-16 military fighter jets intercepted an ultralight aircraft that flew into Arizona from Mexico on Sunday and tracked it until the ultralight returned to Mexico, the North American Aerospace Defense Command said.

A statement by the NORAD command center in Colorado said the ultralight crossed into U.S. airspace just after 6 a.m. Arizona time (9 a.m. ET).

The F-16s were launched to intercept it, and they shadowed it for 30
minutes before the ultralight returned to Mexico, according to the NORAD
statement. No other details were immediately available.

I am disappointed in the illegal immigrants in this country. If you truly want "in" so badly, become legal. But here's the thing. There were soldiers who signed up to go to the front lines of Iraq and serve side by side, boots on the ground, with US citizens who volunteered to fight in Iraq and Afghanistan who were not US citizens. They fought hard for this country and served honorably. When they finished their tour of duty, they were afforded the opportunity to raise their right hand and take the oath of citizenship to the US. It was a fast-track citizenship . . . not sure exactly how long it took, but I think it was 3 MONTHS.

My point to all of those illegals who are DEMANDING that the US give THEM something, remember what President Kennedy said and take action. In case there's any doubt to what I am saying, he said, "Ask NOT what this country can do for you, ask WHAT CAN YOU DO FOR your country." So if you want to fast-track it in to the US, head to your nearest US Army or US Marine recruiting station and serve. After putting your a**ets on the line and putting your money where your mouth is, then YOU TOO can obtain the American dream of US citizenship.

And for those who worry about al-Qaida, don't worry. There will be background checks and such. This should be a program that is uniquely offered to those who are already here illegally and working in this country, and who do not have a criminal record.

Its Time to wear the American Flag and support Arizona on their stand on Immagration.
These illegals think they can drain our country of Medical , Food , Jobs etc and cost us billions in housing their criminals, schooling there kids etc. LOOK at California Bankrupt because those liberals who are tratiors in sheep clothing and those Judas conservatives who want give OUR monies to everyone BUT AMERICANS who need it

    Throw those bums out !!!!!!!

Indigenous, I was born here, my ancestors were born here all the way back to 1832 on one side of my family, and 10,000 years ago on another side of my family. So that makes me as indigenous as anyone else. Can you prove you don't have european or north african (spanish) blood in you? (Or asian for that matter) IF you want to live here come on over, just do it legally, and you can practice any ole culture you wanna practice, you can take a holiday in May, display a flag from a non-indigenous country, eat ethnic food, practice your religion, and make some good old American dollars! But do it legally, we all pay for the privilege to live in the greatest country on Earth, bar none, Mexican, black, asian, white, whatever Raza we belong to, we still pay. You can pay for it too, heck, we'll leave the light on for ya!

I know plenty of liberals who are for the AZ law. Against illegal immigration. Against amnesty. So thanks for the partisan attack.

I'm also happy you feel the need to criticize grammar. As if grammar actually matters to anyone but uppity jerks who dont have substance to stand on in an argument. Thank you!

NEHicks503...Oh look, more Eurocentric propaganda. We are not Hispanic, Hispanics are Europeans from Spain. We are not Latino, Latin are from southern Europe. Lexico-statistic Glottochronology of the Mexican language Nahuatl proves beyond a doubt that Mexicans have been in the southwest usa for over 5,000 years. That being the case, why are white people from Europe trying to stop Mexicans from living in their own ancestral land?

And the only way to 'prove' that a Spanish-speaking Mexican is 'indigenous' would be a DNA test.

So again, your 'indigenous' argument is moot. This has nothing to do with 'indigenous', and everything to do with race, and you are the one continually bringing up race.

    Indigenous,
You make several valid points and I like you sticking around to defend them. You are however just as racist as the people you criticize.

"Human beings have been migrating in the SAME geographical location for thousands of years and living in the SAME geographical locations for thousands of years. Why are the majority of White people in Europe? Why are the majority of Africans in Africa? Why are the majority of Asians in Asia? Why are the majority of Mexicans in North America? I am NOT fomenting violence, just responding to warmongering by you."- Indigenous

It has been theorized that human race began in Africa and migrated throughout the rest of the world. As people migrated they broke off in different directions and settled down in areas such as Asia and Europe. Difference in environmental factors over thousands of years have led to differences in appearances. For example, Africans are darker because the genetics for dark skin is dominant in order to protect the body from the dangerous rays of the sun. Europe is sunny and hot as Africa so the people's skin became less pigmented over time which allows for better absorption of the sun's rays and vitamin D, which is necessary for health.

Everyone should be treated with dignity and respect regardless of their background. In regards to border security, it is important for the U.S. to maintain tight control over its border and regulate those coming in and out of the country. It is understandable that others seek to provide for their families and gain a better life. However, the continuation of mass illegal immigration will cause further devastation to the United States economy. In order for the United States to provide both for its citizens and those that seek a better life, it is of utmost importance to secure the border. If border security does not become more efficient, future difficulties for America lie ahead. One possibility is if a depression were to occur, (highly possible due to unsustainable debt, high unemployment, possibility of down grade from creditors eventually and soon to rise inflation) then no one wins.

    Indigenous,
On a final note, it is the American people's fear of further decline in the country coupled with the negative stigma the illegal acts committed by the few illegal immigrants. It is with respect and desire to help those of good will that will hopefully lead to a solution.
    Peace be with you

Most of us aren't hating a race. We hate people who break the law and force us taxpayers to take care of them. All while they continue to break the law right in our faces. I think that is justified.

It doesn not matter what race they are.

It's so sad. White people today still have not accepted responsibility for their crimes of genocide against the Mexican people and continue in their hatred towards Mexicans, once again. It wasn't enough that Mexicans were in Arizona first, now they are trying to use Police force against mexicans. All you white people on here responding to indigenous should be ashamed of yourselves. YOU STOLE THE LAND, AT LEAST LET THEM LIVE IN THE LAND OF THEIR FOREFATHERS.
