NORAD: U.S. jets intercept ultralight plane from Mexico

Two F-16 military fighter jets intercepted an ultralight aircraft that flew into Arizona from Mexico on Sunday and tracked it until the ultralight returned to Mexico, the North American Aerospace Defense Command said.

A statement by the NORAD command center in Colorado said the ultralight crossed into U.S. airspace just after 6 a.m. Arizona time (9 a.m. ET).

The F-16s were launched to intercept it, and they shadowed it for 30
minutes before the ultralight returned to Mexico, according to the NORAD
statement. No other details were immediately available.

People can have rights if they come here legally and not this stupid we were here first speech, who cares what happened in 1846, most people don't care what happened in 1985 so why these people sit here and say we want rights but don't want to be a part of your country and pay taxes is beyond me..I hate most people just due to their lack of common sense but these people go above and beyond the call of A$$ hats.

"Look at all the racist , ignorant people leaving comments on here bc they have no real arguement , just stereotyplical jokes and insults, sad"

Bit of irony right there Chris. You claim they have no argument, but then your best argument is to call them racist...

Then you proceed to provide an anecdotal situation which proves nothing at the end of the day.

"My poor girlfriend got looks and was told by someone to speak English, wah wah. Feel sorry for me and pretend my viewpoint has more weight since I have an anecdotal story which backs it up.

One case does not a trend make young one. Talk about someone with no argument.

    Indigenous:
Your comments are the most racist and ignorant I have ever seen. I think you make them because on the net you are autonomous and therefore not available for accepting the consequences of your words. But, are you this brave in person? I would guess not. You are weak and a foollish person looking to get something for free. My ancestors paid the price for their citizenship by coming into the country in a proper and legal manner and working for their freedom. Most or all joined the military to defend this country and further earned their freedom. They were patriots and heroes. You say the land was stolen from the indigenous people, you should read history a little closer. The fact is that the mexican dons borrowed money over and over to fullfil their lifestyle of greed and arrogance. They assumed , in their arrogance, that no one would dare to collect. They were wrong and the laws backed the lenders. So now you, who have nothing to do with the original owners, wish to take the land back. By what right?

A lot of people on here are total morons. Mexxicans scam the welfare system of the border states here in the US. Why do you think US border states are hurting the most? I am originally from Norway. Many countries refuse to allow Mexicans to immigrate there, including my country.

This "indigenous" dude is a joke. You post up all these goof-ball statements & videos of wanna-be soldiers acting like they would EVER have a prayer in the world of taking over a state of our country. Wake up dude. They couldn't defend them before against the Spanish or against the USA, and they sure as hell couldn't now.

If they love their country so much, then just stay in it. America wants immigrants who want to become Americans. Thats the whole point of being an immigrant, and its what made this country great.

Mike, thanks for proving to me that stanford is not a school of intellectuals. Azteca is what the Mexica were known before they migrated from present day Arizona. They BECAME Mexica, in fact, they were actually called Tenochca, which is what the Mexican flag says, it is a semasiographic symbol of writing that says "Tenochca". The Mexica were only a branch of the Azteca, and they indeed inhabit what used to be called Aztlan. Aztlan was the homeland of the Azteca, of which the Hopi, Shoshoni, Pima, and hundreds of other Nations belonged to. They were eventually pushed out by Athabaskan Dineh and Apache. Stanford hasn't taught you squat, have they.

Well would be fine if our Government would stop this lets let em in and give em the right to vote for me. Last thing I need is another Moron leading this country further into a heap of what can only be described as Sh it, And we as american's wont wise up and take back what is ours in the first place cause we are to scared that our Government is like it is on the movies the little army guys crawling through the vent to kill us in our sleep, and yet our Government cant seem to figure out how to balance a check book.

Only thing I am scared of is Ignorance and there seems to be droves of that this day in age wish I had a time machine would go back to 1950's where everything was more well mannered.

Remby, YOU are the immigrant. We don't have go anywhere because we have been here since time immemorial. Why should the indigenous people have to be like the Europeans? We already have our languages and our cultures. We don't have to try to become "Americans" because WE ARE THE FIRST "AMERICANS"

indigenous: Whether all your statements are true or false doesn't matter. You are bringing up subjects that most people are too uninformed to understand. And unfortunetly they don't have to wanting to even look into it, because its so much easier to live in the moment and be ignorant of everything in the past.

Hmmm.. how many TENS OF THOUSANDS of dollars did we spend on tracking one illegal alien on his joyride over the border? Can we say "overkill" Ooh, well the guy might have been on a terrorist to run his plane into a building (and bounce off, causing a nasty stain on the sidewalk below).

Check what side of the boarder your on dumb-ass. If it's south of TX, AZ, NM, or CA. then you are Mexican, if you are north of it, then you are American. It doesn't matter who came "first", it matters who won the battles that established those boarders. And guess what........ its wasn't Mexico ! Sorry Charlito
