NORAD: U.S. jets intercept ultralight plane from Mexico

Two F-16 military fighter jets intercepted an ultralight aircraft that flew into Arizona from Mexico on Sunday and tracked it until the ultralight returned to Mexico, the North American Aerospace Defense Command said.

A statement by the NORAD command center in Colorado said the ultralight crossed into U.S. airspace just after 6 a.m. Arizona time (9 a.m. ET).

The F-16s were launched to intercept it, and they shadowed it for 30
minutes before the ultralight returned to Mexico, according to the NORAD
statement. No other details were immediately available.

Let's see, if EVERYONE "went back" to where they "came from", there would be 6.5 billion people fighting over a small valley–in AFRICA! (Or a garden in Mesopotamia, if you prefer....)

    indigenous:

Can you help me understand what rights you have due to your "indigenous" status, and from where those rights are derived? Thanks.

yes, we have laws on immigration, but we all know that the majority of individuals that cross are just here to work at jobs most citizens don't want to do. That's where the politicians (repugnicans) then bring up immigration to 'boost' their voter appeal. Bush had 8 years as the head Honcho to bring bi-partinsanship enforcement, but didn't. Where were all the T Partyers then. It's racism pure n simple. But don't fret Latinos, in 30-40 years we'll take back our land, not by force but by the VOTE!!!!!!!!!!!! Our political clout will dominate by then and then the Palins of the future will come courting us. How Sweet It Is...........

It's obvious that all you Patriotic Americans are only happy with the continuation of your Genocidal Occupation of our indigenous land. JUST REMEMBER WHO TRESSPASSED ON WHOSE PROPERTY FIRST AND WHO STOLE WHOSE LAND FIRST. WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND.

No, INDIGENOUS – it is WE, the PEOPLE of the UNITED STATES who are the sleeping giants...and Arizona is the first to wake up. There is a REASON that 71% of the population SUPPORT Az's law..and other states (except California) will be waking up too.

Eliud: Based on ancestral, linguistic, historical, ethnic, culinary, agricultural, anthropological, and archaeological links. We have an indigenous right, read the UN charter on Indigenous rights and you will discover our rights. We have a right based on our historical precedence.

indigenous your argument is ridiculous, it isn't the land that you want- California, Arizona etc.. you have a beautiful country full of resources yet your people risk a lot to come to the US. It is the American gov't that has set up laws and the economy of our country that drives you here. If Arizona were part of Mexico you would be jumping the border into the US from Arizona. I can't believe people like you can be so idiotic and hypocritical. BTW what language do you speak? If it is Spanish you are a hypocrite that was the white mans' language . I hope you speak an indian dialect and not Spanish nor state you have a Spanish grandfather like almost every Mexican indigenous looking person I have ever met has stated.. You do your cause more harm than good.

"I was hungry and you did not feed me"
"I was naked and you did not clothe me"
"I was sick and you did not heal me"
"That which you have done to the least of these, you have done unto Me."
Burn in heck teabagger/republicans, but do it in Israel or Austrailia but get the heck out of America - you do not represent the values of America's founders.

So the moral of the story is you can attempt to do something illegal in an ultralight, and if someone shows up you just head back all safe and sound. Even if this guy wasn't trying to bring drugs in or something, that's what I pretty much get from this.

According to current anthropoligical thought, humans originated in Africa.

    So indigenous is not indigenous.

Also it is interesting that you use terms such as la raza.

indigenous is speaking a european tongue, lol.

Hey indigenous, if you've got such big cajones, why don't you go down to Mexico and take on the narco-traffickers that have turned Mexico into a warzone?

And for you morons talking about going to Mexico Illegally and being shot, it is impossible for a U.S. citizen to go to Mexico illegally. It isn't like they stamp your passport when you go there, you stupid, simple minded fools.
If you want to become a MX citizen, all you need is employment and file the appropriate paperwork, it takes about 2 years to work through their system. You can live/work there while your application(s) are processed.
