NORAD: U.S. jets intercept ultralight plane from Mexico

Two F-16 military fighter jets intercepted an ultralight aircraft that flew into Arizona from Mexico on Sunday and tracked it until the ultralight returned to Mexico, the North American Aerospace Defense Command said.

A statement by the NORAD command center in Colorado said the ultralight crossed into U.S. airspace just after 6 a.m. Arizona time (9 a.m. ET).

The F-16s were launched to intercept it, and they shadowed it for 30
minutes before the ultralight returned to Mexico, according to the NORAD
statement. No other details were immediately available.

The reason why we need "ethic" studies is best advertised by the poster "indigenous". We have so much to learn. In the university, we call it by various names, such as cultural anthropology, history of [...], or development of civilization. Ignorance is the fountain of prejudice, fear, and xenophobia. Do not forget, also, the corporatists in power just love everyone (especially the poorer and middle classes) divided and fighting among themselves. People need to get educated, overcome petty nationalism, organize, and overthrow their oppressor – the corporatists. Power to the people – of all shades of skin color and ancestry. We are of the HUMAN race fighting for the betterment of humanity.

So many people on here really believe they understand history. I see it on post daily how we took the land from natives and mexicans were here before americans. It's all wrong and shows how stupid most people are because they never read far enough back in history. If you want to use those excuses, then you have to go back to the beginning when the original natives crossed a land bridge because they were being pushed out and starving because thier on tribes persecuted them. Once here they branched off and from then on they never lived in peace they attacked thier on branches and killed for coup and women/children which they made slaves. It is the nature of all men. This is a truth we can never hide from. It has nothing to do with AZ and illegals. That was then and this is now!!! It is about crime, economy and how americans are being drained to pay for welfare and health through taxes and soventry for someone else. Stand up and support AZ and donate to thier treasury to offset the idots that are staging boycotts. Take America back

The Arizona law is just a continuation of Manifest Destiny, all done using duplicitous legal jargon to justify the continued exploitation, oppression, and discrimination of indigenous people, in this case, once again, Mexicans. Only the truly educated will be able to understand what I've been trying to say all along, that Mexicans are related on both sides of the border BECAUSE THEY ARE INIDIGENOUS to both sides of the border. You can't cut a man in half and expect him to be a full person. We are relatives on both sides of the wall. We are Tohono O'Odham in Arizona and Tohono O'Odham in Sonora.

A perfect example of why the classes were banned. We don't live however many hundreds or thousands of years ago like you are living in your mind. We're just trying to work, live and be happy. You can't expect a sovereign country to just lay down their rules and laws for national security just because you want to wear your tribal warpaint. Get over it. We're not going anywhere. Put your energy to better use. You don't think all of us do not long for better years that have passed? It's yours. It's mine. It's theirs. It's ours. Who cares. Get a job and feed your own offspring like the rest of us. Give them an education that's worth something – so they don't have to migrate somewhere else to get a job.

Ultimately, every nation, including Mexico, has an immigration policy that must be enforced as governments are built on a taxpayer base and only so many services can be provided to so many people before it government services become ineffective. There is a strong difference between being racist and being anti-immigration law as it currently stands. Frankly, if I were living south of the border and had a hungry family to feed you better believe I would hop over that fence! They aren't bad people for wanting a better life, and it's cruel to go against our Christian values as a nation by acting with such disdain towards anyone. It is not the people we should target but the companies that hire them, as they treat their workers like slaves and violate the labor laws we all worked so hard to protect for the last century.

Indigenous, your postings show that you are playing at the same racist playing field that many of the anti-Latino nuts on here are playing on and it's sad. 'Native" history is a bloody one, one that is filled with thousands of years of slavery, conquest, genocide and war. I would be careful to point your fingers at whites – four fingers always point back at yourself.
