The governor of a northern province in the Philippines and five other people died Monday when their helicopter crashed south of Manila, the official news agency said.
The helicopter carrying Rafael Nantes, the governor of Quezon, and the others crashed in a residential area in Lucena City, burning two houses, the Philippine News Agency said, quoting an army official.
Lucena City, in Quezon, is about 70 miles (110 km) south of Manila.
The preliminary cause of the crash is mechanical failure, the news agency said.
Yes Wade W., it really pains us (the sensible Filipinos still left in this country) to see the Marcoses back. Corruption is already so ingrained in the Filipino personality that I believe nothing can get us out of this cesspool anymore except if all Filipinos 5 years and older be exterminated and start fresh. On this recent election we can see very young candidates without any idea of what good governance is, running for positions and their only merit is they are sons/daughters of old political names. Clearly they are there for the money. For the sake of the future Filipinos we hope and pray that Ninoy Aquino can make a difference.... but again... it will be an uphill fight.... God save the Philippines.... And may the spirit of CORY AQUINO guide Ninoy not to be corrupt himself.....
NoyNoy aquino will be our symbol for our hope that the Philippines will someday be a better country.',*
good riddance! need more like him to go!
I impressed, I need to say. Actually rarely do I encounter a blog that each educative and entertaining, and let me inform you, you may have hit the nail on the head. Your idea is outstanding; the problem is something that not sufficient persons are speaking intelligently about. I'm very comfortable that I stumbled across this in my seek for something referring to this.
I've to say, I appreciate reading this site. Maybe you could let me know how I can subscribing with it.
