Earthquake hits Southern California

A 5.1-magnitude earthquake struck Southern California on Tuesday evening, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.

The quake was centered 18 miles west-southwest of El Centro, California,
just north of Mexicali in Mexico's Baja California, the USGS said. It struck at
a depth of 6.3 miles.

"This earthquake is within the aftershock zone of a magnitude 7.2 (earthquake) that occurred on April 4" near Mexicali, said Susan Potter of the USGS. "This is an area that was exposed to many large earthquakes in the past."

At least two people were killed and 100 injured in the April 4 quake.

Geez, I felt some "Thunder Down Under" and thought it was that stinkin Mexican food giving me gas again.!!! Glad it was only an after shock. In San Diego / North County – it has hard to tell the difference from an earth quake or our men at Camp Pendelton having a little fun. Now after eating at Bull Taco, you usually know the difference there!

What does her getting cancer have to do with an Earthquake??? Damn its bad enough Conservatives get all high and mighty and start evoking God (likes he's on their Side, (snickers)) but to wish cancer on someone is just mean.

I wonder if there is a link, single reason for all this, something is definitely wrong here, the only difference between these quakes and the one happened in California on Tuesday is that all of them measured more 5.6 on the rector scale. I think there is going to be a big happening pretty soon.

The single link between all of this is that we are living in the last days prophecied in the bible.

I was on 2nd floor of a building in Mira Mesa when I heard and felt the building shake. I was the only person in the building who noticed that there had been an aftershock. So glad to know that others on this board felt it, too. Just confirms that my imagination is not on overdrive. Also flad to know that nobody was hurt and that there was no damage in San Diego. I hope there was no injury or damage in Mexico. I wonder if anyone else here has reviewed That site has some interesting info about stuff like this.
