HOW on earth can CONGRESS in their right minds confirm this woman?????????? Please tell me that???????? She is so scarey that I cannot even articulate a real response!!!!!!! She wants to ban free speech and gun rights and was so bold as to give her opinion in a case when she was a mere law clerk on gun rights. This woman is just like Obama a member of the elite. I am so shocked at some of Obama's moves he is more daring than any president to date. Meanwhile the media is so in love with him that they overlook many important stories that really do shine the Red light on what he is doing. he is trying to restructure this economy and country with stupid treats here and there meanwhile robbing us blind!!!!! What abotu some of those stories CNN on the vandalism in he midwest by the illegals? How much longer will you not report on those? yet you could not take your eyes off the whale attack as seaworld???? Diversions is what you are doing. No wonder Campbell is leaving CNN is more like ET.

"??????????" Ten exclamation points . . . sure sign of an insane mind. As if the rest of your comments didn't suggest that anyway.

      "She is so scarey"
      "scarey"
Marie, it's very very hard to have a well-respected opinion of someone who cannot spell scary, just saying. I suggest you also read Elements of Style by Strunk to fix up your punctuation.

'This woman is just like Obama a member of the elite.'
So what exactly makes you use the label of 'elite'
I see it banded about so much and used as an insult, and yet no one actually explains what they mean by it.

America your country is broke and broken. George Bush and the GOP saw to that. A supreme court that commited a coup in 2000, a war in Iraq that should never have been started, a Wall Street and banking system so deregulated by the Republicans for their rich friends your economy lays in ruins, unemployment not seen since the depression, poverty that skyrocketed beyond belief and healthcare that left millions without care. Your political system is broken and no longer works except for the rich who use it to the advantage of lobbyists who give the most campaign dollars.
Wake up. Obama is the only one who has integrity and trying to fix all that is broken. Republicans put you in theses positions.
Kagan is a stellar choice for the court. Only wing nuts and right wing extremists think otherwise. You had your way for 8 long years and destroyed America, almost taking the rest of the world with you. Obama is your one and only hope of turning your country around and making it once again a great country. Give him a chance to give you back the values you once had. The world is watching.

Yeah, those darn elitists, with their good grades and successful careers and big brains! Why can't we have judges who went to six community colleges and failed at job after job?

In 1999 Ms. Kagan told the Senate in an inquiry into a judicial nomination that she had belonged to three prestigous law associations, which she now does not recall having belonged to. One of which apparently does not exist. This CV padding with lies may have alas become acceptable in our society, but a US Supreme Court Justice should not have a past of telling lies in a Senate inquiry. Putting this woman on the court after her own confession of not remembering her lies would be a deeply low point in our government.
