British Cabinet member resigns amid scandal

Britain's Treasury Chief Secretary David Laws, a member of the Liberal Democratic Party, has resigned over allegations he funneled public funds to a male lover, a party spokeswoman confirmed Saturday.

    It's not "a male lover", it's his domestic partner. Calling the man his "male lover" makes it sound as if he was a closeted man or that he was cheating, neither of which are true.

      and that matters how? the issue is that he stole public money. it is rather irrelevant who he gave it to, and what their legal status was. he stole money. got it?

    Why do people in power dance with such abuses. I have significant power in my job and I go to sleep at night with a clear mind knowing I play fair. There should be more crimies of breaking the peoples trust to give criminal records to these sodomoizers of public good.
