9:30 a.m. – Oil Hearing/Salazar – Senate Natural Resources Committee hearing to consider the Interior Department’s report entitled, “Increased Safety Measures for Energy Development on the Outer Continental Shelf.”  Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar to testify.

10:00 a.m. – Oil Briefing –  Adm. Thad Allen oil spill briefing.

10:00 a.m. – Oil cleanup technology hearing – A House panel holds a hearing on the need for research and new technology for effective cleanup of oil spills. Actor Kevin Costner is expected to testify.

10:30 a.m. – House oil liability hearing –  The House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee holds a hearing on “Liability and Financial Responsibility for Oil Spills under the Oil Pollution Act of 1990 and Related Statutes.”

 1:30 p.m. – White House Briefing – Daily briefing at White House for reporters.

2:00 p.m. – House oil spill hearing – The Subcommittee on Energy and Environment will hold a briefing entitled “Beneath the surface of the BP oil spill: What’s happening now, What’s needed next?”

2:15 p.m. – Lugar Climate Change Briefing – Sen. Dick Lugar holds a press conference to introduce an energy and climate change bill. Lugar is concerned about America’s dependence on foreign oil and his legislation plans reduce that need by two-thirds.

    I have a better machine then what they are showing on cnn and ireport. yet my machine cleans pure oil from the ocean and with all these scientist that are out there if they only let me build this machine this is what is needed watch the video on ireport.com its called the oil spill clean machine......oilmachine1 come on if I can get funded to build this machine it would collerct more than 120,000 gals and would stay in the ocean without any petroleum needed.
