Holder: 2,200 arrested, 74.1 tons seized in drug probe

Attorney General Eric Holder announced the arrest Thursday of more than 2,200 individuals on narcotics-related charges in the United States and the seizure of more than 74.1 tons of illegal drugs in a 22-month probe called Projective Deliverance.

Project Deliverance targeted the transportation infrastructure of Mexican drug trafficking organizations in the United States, especially along the Southwest border.

All lies. Mexico is invading us and our leaders put on a fake show before trying to grant amnesty.

the real question is why? is it that the poliyicians like illegals, is it that they just don't care since it doesn't affect them directly? is it that their lining their pockets with big companies who hire illegals to pick fruit in 120 degree heat for minimum wage? Why are administrations since the reagan era allow illegal immigration. Or is it that our government is powerless against the onslaught of illegal immigrants. Our highways are clogged, or state departements are overworked. Try going to the DMV in California, you'll be stuck their for hours, inner city emergency rooms are full of illegal immigrants, and it's only gonna get worse. Now you have to be super rich to live comfortably in California. Schools, hospitals, DMV, Social services departments, courts, all these in California are being destroyed because California has too many illegal immigrants clogging up our systems, the systems are breaking, If your thinking about moving to California think twice, it's full of Hispanic people, Hispanic citizens ANd illegal immigrants. Don't come, it's a horrible place to live unless you're making more than $200,000/year CA needs AZ laws

It is a good indication of the trash that now occupies the world. We will miss none of them if ever they are convicted. Drugs are not the problem, people are the problem. We should be jailing the users not the pushers. Being a drug head and hooked is no excuse. No one crams it into them. It is by choice.

That's a wonderfully well-thought out position, Johnny. Let's imprison about 25% of the working population. Then there will be less people on the roads for the drunk drivers to hit.

Quick question, do you own any stock in private prison enterprises?

Great Idea Johnny. Tell that to the Cancer patient taking meds to relieve their pain. Tell it to any patient who uses drugs to normalize. Many "Pot Heads" self medicate and if they hadn't been doing pot, it would be a prescription drug with side effects. I can see you thought this comment through.

If you truly want to know what is going on; Then you will have to accept these things as the TRUTH. Once you understand the following things; All things will be understood. So I tell you Obama is the Anti-Christ, Satan on Earth, Lawless One, or what ever else you want to call this Demonic Figure. His words describe him, He is a False Hope, If you listen to him you will love him. He carries a Bow without an Arrow. He will conquer all through his speech, his false hoods will capture all who sit and listen to him.

your an idiot, i've heard him speak and I don't hold any preference to his ideas, if anything I think he's kind of a uncle tom. He needs to be more aggressive. So, no dude or dudette, i doubt obama is an antichrist, just because he's black doesn't mean he's demonic.

Had to take a moment to address SMITTANCE, his answer of put a bullet iN anyones skull who used or was anyway connected to drugs, I guess you would put a bullet in your skull if you found out your son smoked pot. Or how about a cousin. Be careful life with blinders on makes you not see what is coming to blind side you. Teach your family tolerance and move towards adopting what has worked in other countries for ours. Wake up it went on before you, it will go on after you.

It's called Google and common knowledge. Drinking and driving is way more dangerous than smoking weed and driving.

Also, check out all the studies about other things alcohol vs pot ....... domestic abuse, violent crimes etc ....... Same thing again..... alcohol is way more dangerous than pot....... every time

Get your head out of your ass and read something besides what FOX news provides you with

No other human-being should have a right to tell me what I can or can not consume for whatever purpose. All drugs should be legal and regulated. Drugs become cheap, pure, consistant, which would allow crime to drop-robbery, murder and whatever crimes break off from the main ones. At no other time in history have drugs been so demonized and most of the "facts" are scare tactic's.

For those who just have a knee jerk reacton and blurt do not legalize, challenge your way of thinking, think for yourself.

    1. Prohibition will always fail in this country due to “due process”
    2. When you have a prohibited item you raise the value of said item and create a market
    3. The marketers of said item run without regulation or taxes therefore creating a public hazard and suppying no revenue for policing the industry.
    4. The buying public has no recourse for grievances towards the marketers, therefore leading to handling the afore mentioned grievance themselves, therefore creating an additional public hazard.
    5. The largest group that is against legalization is the southern cartels. Legalization will destroy the market model they work within.
If the cartels are against legalization shouldn’t we be for it?

I think that closing the borders to imported dope and harvesting domestic dope here would go a long way to fixing the supply problems. If you're gonna keep people out, you can stop what they bring. The human toll will be huge tho, stupid people who are high still do stupid things. Poverty and crime will still be part of a dope addled culture (why work man, it's a drag) ... I think that those who think that everything will be hunky dory when dope is made legal are just fooling themselves. If people want to turn on, fine, go ahead. Just don't drag anyone (your children for instance) into it. People deserve better than that. Singular minded dopeheads don't see beyond their bongs.

Brad, I have been working in Corporate America for decades and every company I have worked for has had pot users from the guy in the mail room to the SVP. Your not truly that Naive to think that Marijuana users do not work. They are probably doing it better because they are too paranoid to get up from their desk so you can see their red eyes.

12 million illegal immigrants are way to many people to go after for breaking such a minor law they say. BUT yet they have no problem going after the nearly 30 million people who smoke marijuana a year. WHAT A JOKE!!
