Three killed in blast at Kenyan political rally

At least three people were killed and about 75 others injured in a blast Sunday during a political rally in Kenya at Nairobi's Uhuru Park, a Kenyatta National Hospital spokesman said.

"We have about 75 patients admitted to this hospital with four people in surgery right now," Dr. Peter Wanyoike said. "I understand there was commotion at one of the rallies," he said.

Any politicians who have a hand in this kind of things, ought to be removed from office & charged with crimes that include hefty jail terms!

We can't have another 2008, WAKE UP KENYANS, you can't let this politicians get in office term after term after term with no change and broken promises, it's time for us to rise & elect people who are FOR the people, by action not just words! Someone who cares forthe regular mwananchi not this greedy corrupt incompetent people in office who are NOT leaders because they do not inspire anyone!

Will Obama take the US into civil war and violent protests also? Things are not looking good for the most polarizing president in the history of the US with a Congress that is the most corrupt!

Please Kenyans the structure that took years to create and grow cannot be co-opted for violence. No one group or party is as important as the whole and lets keep it together !

wow racist much wiseman? Kenya is a third world country so not as many laws about violence as there is in the US. & just because Obama has Kenyan heritage does not make this his fault. ignorance & free speech=stupid, racist & ridiculous comments. it's funny how people complain that Obama interfers too much in other affairs around the world but when he isn't in this one event you find yet another reason to blame him somehow! wake up people....

Sounds very similar to the CIA placed bombs in South America. The CIA would place the bomb to take out the principle target along with as many that attended the press release, or political rally as possible. American journalists were murdered by such CIA bombings across South America but their deaths were likely ruled, 'legal murders', go figure!
