When we traveled to Ukraine, we had to go with a passport and picture ID. We had to declare to them how much money we had and what was contained in our suitcases and what it would be used for. We could stay in the country for up to 60 days without getting a visa. That is a deal between Ukraine and the U.S. We would not have dreamed of staying longer without a visa. It is their law that we have one. Had we stayed, we would surely have been arrested and faced prison time, and then deportation.

Why do we think here in America, that we should allow criminals (those who enter our country illegally) to continue to thumb their noses at our laws and disrespect our country? Why is this an ok practice? Mexico has NO RIGHT to mess with U.S. Policy. Maybe they should spend their money trying to solve the problems at the borders and enforce their OWN laws!

This has nothing to do with racial profiling. It has everything to do with Illegal activity. It is interesting watching the polls vs. the media spin. The polls are highly in favor of what AZ is doing. The media? They are in la-la land, not understanding the pulse of America. They are totally detached.

Take a chill pill everyone, this is great news... Yes, this will make them look like the bad in court as well as in the court of public opinion... This is what we want exactly... "Mr. Presidente, can you tell us what your immigration laws are " and " why should America make special provisions for your lazy worthless welfare mongers you have sent here "... Please answer the question wet back !

I still can’t believe that not a single politician has stood up and called Mexico out on its own immigration laws. Just take a look at how they protect their southern border from the Central Americans and what they do to the ILLEGAL IMIGRANTS they catch. Now they have the nerve to say Arizona is wrong in what they are doing.

I can’t believe that we’re actually allowing them to use our court/legal system on this.

2ndgenlegaldominican: Well said. I wondered if his statement was meant to be funny, but then assumed he obviously doesn’t know which taxes were referred to – and that pretty much sums it up… he doesn’t pay those either!

Mexico needs to stay on its side of border! I don't know what this country is coming to when we let a nother country try and challange one of the laws that was created to help protect our people and way of life!

WHY do so many people, including Mexico, want to make things SO complicated. The law IS what it is. NO ILLEGAL
obey the law, enforce the law and support the law. DAMN, It's hard to believe the reasons for all this discord.

Mexico needs to stay out of OUR/MY country's affairs. They have no right and they have NO business doing so. Mexico MUST clean up THEIR country, and fire all the corrupt politicians. They need to reform THEIR country and STOP using the U.S. as a relief valve for all their problems. Perhaps we should invade Mexico, take it over, and divide it up into the 51 st to 60 th states of the U.S. and get it done with. A reinforced boyscout troop should do the trick.

Wow! I have read every comment and vulgarity isn't going to fix the problem; however as the polls reflect...70% of our Country agrees with the Arizona Law and I do too. They are Illegal and breaking the law, if we don't uphold the laws of our country what are they good for. Mexico is a beautiful Country with huge resources that haven't even been tapped; Government in Mexico needs to get there act together and take care of there own...WE USA cannot afford to take care of them anymore... WE USA need to mind our own business, bring all our troops home, place them on the border and protect our own.
