Oldest known images of apostles Andrew, John found

The oldest known image of the apostles Andrew and John have been discovered in catacombs under the city of Rome, dating back to the 4th century A.D., archaeologists announced Tuesday.

The paintings were found in the same location where the oldest known painting of St. Paul was discovered last year, the Pontifical Commission for Sacred Archeology said Tuesday.

    Oh, some unknown monk probably grabbed the pics off John and Andrew's Facebook pages and put 'em up himself, then told his friends they were hanging with him- "See? J & Drew were totally chillin' in my catacombs-crib!"

    The images will be posted soon at cnn.com/belief.
    Bryan, it's Peter, Paul, Andrew and John. The discovery of the painting of Paul was announced a year ago, and archeologists believe there are older images of Peter.
