His rights, depending on the country of arrest, are not the same as those if he were in America. His due process is upto the governing bodies of the country of which the offense was committed. example, the boy who got 19 slashings for painting graffiti in Singapore. Though in america that punishment might be "cruel and unusal", in Singapore it was expected and tolerable.
Well....Duhhh....
Plus Peruvian laws, like American laws, only apply to Peruvian citizens. Perhaps Van der Sloot should have considered this before committing a crime on foreign soil. Ooops!
Him being "tricked" into admitting it should not even be an issue. He is a murderer. We know he is a murderer. The guys who allegedly tricked him (which probably never happened in the first place), should be given an award or something for getting him to admit to it. I wonder what it feels like to be one of the grimey ass people working with Van der Sloot, acutally trying to help him con his way out of this. People will do anything for money.
This incarnation of pure evil sucks the air out of any environment he is in and sucked the life out of two young vibrant women and their families (and probably others). Chuck him into the general prison population of the worst prison in Peru. He will very quickly learn what happens to preppy foreigners who attack Peruvian women.
First his rights, next his anus.
Like all the others have said....he got away with it the first time because of his Dad's political contacts. Now, because of special privilege, he has taken another life...I believe his parents both new of his crime. His Dad is not deceased and his Mom is now not seeing him....WHAT DOES THAT SAY! GUILTY......DO NOT LET HIM WALK AWAY FREE...
EXCUSE ME HIS DAD IS DECEASED – PARDON
YEP HIS DAD DIED IN FEBRUARY.
look it up.
More than likely due to the stress from Joran's lifestyle and disrepect for authority!!
In my opinion jail in Perufor himis perfect
It saddens me that he got away with murder twice. How he has gotten this far astounds me as he admitted his guilt on camera unknowingly. Of course he needs to be tried in a court with a jury and not based on a video but this is the frustrating part of the law. I hope that he goes to jail for a long, long time. I'm sure he'll use the "injustice" he faced as a way to get out of this new murder, but there is no doubt that he is going to hell if there is one.
Looks like he not to keen on puruvian prisons. Hey maybe he can work out a deal to go back to Aruba for trial if he tells about Natalie. OK tell us all you know and we will let you go back to Aruba for trial. Yes really we will. NOT!!!!!!!!!
Oh boo hoo you !!!!! mommy im scared daddy cant help me anymore. Oh Boo hoo.
He is not going to get out of this one and I wonder why you are all so worried? Come on guys this is Peru, home to the worst prisons in the world. No matter what anyone says he killed her and he is going to pay. We can all see this so why worry.
The idiots in the judicial system are wasting time he guilty all he deserves is about 60k volts or a 45 between the eyes
see he is a perfect example of "V" Vigilante justice
He should be so lucky.... If it was my daughter, he have a bullet in the head, fuk the vest, thats just for show for the media.
Always take out the tards brains, he doesnt deserve them.
