10:00 a.m. – Cybersecurity/Dr. Phil hearing- A House Education subcommittee will hold a hearing to examine rising safety concerns about students using the Internet, social networking and other technology. Television talk show host Dr. Phil McGraw will be among the witnesses.

10:00 a.m. – Foreclosure prevention hearing – House committee holds a hearing to examine home ownership. Loan service executives will testify on foreclosure prevention efforts, focusing on the implementation of the Home Affordable Modification Program. Witnesses include a host of bank CEOs.

10:00 a.m. – Offshore energy hearing – A House subcommittee holds a hearing on state planning for offshore energy development.

10:00 a.m. – Immigration reform briefing – Members of Congress announce more than 100 co-sponsors for the Comprehensive Immigration Reform for America’s Security and Prosperity Act.

11:00 a.m. – Korean War Commemoration – Both the House and Senate adopted resolutions to mark the 60th anniversary of the outbreak of the Korean War and highlight the bilateral alliance. The House will hold an event in the main hall of the House of Representatives. Leading congressmen, including those who participated in the war, will attend.

1:25 p.m. – Gov. Jindal media event– Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal host a live media briefing from Houma to discuss oil disaster.

1:45 p.m. – Obama-Medvedev joint media briefing– Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and President Obama hold a joint media briefing. It will be the leaders’ first meeting since April when they signed a new arms treaty in Prague, and since Russia agreed to strengthen sanctions against Iran.

1:45 p.m. – Mrs. Obama-Medvedeva school visit- Michelle Obama and Russian First lady Svetlana Medvedeva visit the Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington. The students will perform for the first ladies.

3:00 p.m. – Obama-Medvedev meeting- President Obama welcomes Russian President Dmitry Medvedev to the White House, for a meeting ahead of the G8 and G20 meetings.
