Joran van der Sloot indicted on fraud, extortion charges

Joran van der Sloot has been indicted in connection with allegations that he tried to extort $250,000 from the mother of Natalee Holloway, U.S. Attorney Joyce White Vance said.

A federal grand jury in Alabama indicted van der Sloot Wednesday on charges of wire fraud and extortion. Van der Sloot was questioned in Holloway's death but never charged. He is also being held in Peru on murder charges in the death of college student Stephany Flores.

And while the FBI was "watching" him, he killed that poor woman in Peru.

He will not be indited, the girl was an informant, send by the US to spy on him, and her father is a CIA agent. Moreover the CIA will put a lid on this case and he will be released

    • I know, right?

I've been thinking that all along. If they would have done this in a timely manner, that girl could still be alive.

Teh Girl worked for the FBI, and she had signed off on her life if any thing happened to her. Her Family was handsomly paid off, so stop this innocent cry. Since Halloway disapeared and they have been after the guy.. and will not quit.. so they tryed to set a trap for him. let it go !! he will not go to jail for even one day.. since the evidence will come out, and the CIA will want it all covered up.. and a plea for him to serve time in Aruba.. that is all.

In case you have not figured it out, the FBI has no jurisdiction outside the borders of the country. Why do you think he stayed clear of any US controlled areas?! Just like any other criminal who is guilty. They jump the border or stay just outside the reach of the government.

Think a little bit, folks! If she worked for FBI, she must be an FBI agent, right? Tell me whether an FBI agent opened the guy's laptop, reading the information from that laptop, lying on the bed and waiting for him to come back to kill her?!? It doesn't make any sense at all! An FBI agent will know countless number of methods to transfer the entire data from the laptop to a portable device in a matter of minutes; and take it away to examine the information. She will never stay there to read it and waiting for him to kill. For me, the reason for the FBI to go after him is to find good reasons to convict him and bring him to the US; and from there they will get information about Holloway from him.

Hey Bond, you know how to become an FBI informant, don't you? Does your name tell you what quality an informant should have before performing the job?...If an informant didn't need a basic training, a monkey can do a better job than human.

I posted 2 other replies with evidence theat the CNN modirator has refused to put on this page... go find out why.. some of it has to do with the news orginization that sponsered the hunt and tracking for Van Der Sloot, on the agreement that they would get exclusive rights.. the so called lady who runs the show was obsesed and promised Halloways family to persue him at any cost ... and they reqruited the girl from Lima.. and that is why they are trying to find out now who I am and how I got my hands on this detailed information... talk about FREE speach !! and freedom on information !! we only use those terms when they suit us.. we are such hipocrits.. when it comes to other people rights and life value.. we killed that girl by sacrificing he to get van der sloot !!

If the FBI and or CIA were involved and 'watching' and had set this (Ms. Flores) up as a trap, it would not have taken 2-3 days to realize she was no longer alive. That theory is ridiculous.

It's unlikey he will ever be brought to the US to face the charges... Its unlikely he will survive prison life in Peru... I bet the prisoners there can't wait for his arrival...

I agree Frank, it`s very likely someone will take him out if they get the chance. I only worry that he may swing a deal and get sent back to the Netherlands where he`ll get a BIG hug and a glass of warm milk and cookies. I could`nt believe the Dutch representative. He made the Dutch sound like fools. He needs to do his time in Peru.

You'd care if it was your daughter he beat and smashed to death. No society needs a person like him, so just like Jeffrey Dahmer, hopefully he'll find justice in that Peruvian prison, since in the U.S. appeals can go on for decades.

Why do you think her father did not care that she was dead.." as long as she exposed the Halloway case and brought justice to it " !! what father thinks his daughters life is not worth it.. as long as she did the job she was out to perform. Check out her Fathers ties with the CIA and then speak out.. stop your ignorance and arrogance.

Didn't the FBI give the guy the $25,000 that he used to go to Peru, then purportedly murder the other girl? Van der Sloot is not the only one who should be indicted by the US.
