Final test conducted at Iranian nuclear plant

Iran will begin operating its nuclear power plant in the southern city of Bushehr as early as next month, the state-run Islamic Republic News Agency said Wednesday.

Ali-Akbar Salehi, director of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization, said the final test was conducted Wednesday on the reactor, which Iran says is for civilian use. The United States suspects Iran has ambitions of building nuclear
weapons.

The information is largely lacking in this brief announcement. Is this the same commercial reactor that Europe initially built and Russia recently completed? America under the Shah of Iran was planning on placing 5 or 6 commercial reactors in Iran. Why has the news not previously mentioned that Russia had supplied the reactor fuel and control rods to this reactor? What is happening with the small Iranian medical reactor which Brazil was planning on providing fuel and control rods for? Are you confusing the small Iranian medical reactor for a large commercial reactor?
