Web Pulse: A story, a seep, and Spencer

[cnn-video url="http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/politics/2010/07/19/starr.pentagon.wash.post.cnn"]

"Hidden world" - A controversial investigative story about America's intelligence community has been generating major buzz since it went live on the Washington Post's site. The story, the culmination of two years of reporting, says that in the years after the 9/11 attacks, intelligence gathering has become unmanageable and inefficient. Critics say that the Post article discloses sensitive information.

The seep - Everyone is searching the Web to find the exact definition of the word "seep" after news this past weekend that there is a leak from the oil  containment cap in the Gulf of Mexico.

The question now is whether the seep is significant enough to require opening valves to relieve pressure and in turn release more oil into the Gulf. Is this the end of the months-long Deepwater Horizon oil leak?

The federal on-scene coordinator warned Monday that it's too soon to make that call. "With an operation like this, your biggest enemy is complacency," said Coast Guard Rear Adm. Paul Zukunft.

Spencer Pratt - Alleged problems with America's intelligence community, the oil spill and ... that guy who everyone hates from MTV's show "The Hills." Last week, the long-running drama about rich 20-somethings in Los Angeles ended with a shocker - the reality show was not really reality but scripted. What? No! This week, (can we call him an actor?) Spencer Pratt tried to keep his name in the news by admitting that he's a "famewhore." His words, not ours. But he's getting clicks. Lots of 'em.

Addressing massive domestic concerns that the Afghanistan War is largely a utter failure, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has flown to that region to deliver massive amounts of free American taxpayer dollars to the utterly corrupt pockets of the Karzai Clan, War Lords and Drug Lords in Afghanistan and to the Pakistan Government. Many American's do not understand this massive transfer of wealth to Afghanistan, Pakistan and flooding the world with Harmid Karzai's Clan's cheap Heroin as a true American value. I guess I'm one of the American people questioning that of having any value whatsoever.

Sack loads of free American taxpayer dollars to the tune of many Billions of FREE money to Pakistan is buying America what exactly? More Taliban fighters murdering American and NATO soldiers? More Taliban fighters murdering Afghanistan people? More Taliban fighters murdering the civilians in nearby India?

A Lt. General of the Pakistani ISI appears linked to the man that wired large amounts of money to the 9/11 high jackers. The same Lt. General of the ISI met with virtually all of the Bush Administration the week prior to 9/11 and left town the morning of 9/11.

What exactly are the Billions of free American taxpayer dollars being funneled to Pakistan buying? More weapons and explosives for the Taliban fighters? More black op's to murder India's civilians?

A silent victim in this yet another massive transfer of American taxpayer dollars is America's senior citizen's programs across America which were slashed to practically non-existent levels recently. Many had worked they entire lives supporting and helping America, now they are treated by the Republican Potty'ticians like disposable trash, a drain on their corporate's special interests, instead of the dignity and respect they truly deserve from all Americans.

Regarding the BP Seepage Article: Releasing the pressure by pumping the oil up to the surface could help the situation. Expect BP to recommend that solution this week until the well can be sealed via one of the two relief wells pumping in concrete. It would be a wise move, but one that will likely draw criticism of "BP being greedy and wanting to continue profiting from the oil"

In related news, check out the Steve Jobs press conference on behalf of BP....very FUNNY.
