Three 7-magnitude quakes strike off Philippines

Three earthquakes of greater than magnitude 7 struck the Philippines' Moro Gulf in just over an hour early Saturday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The first quake, magnitude 7.3, was recorded at 6:08 a.m. (5:08 p.m. ET Friday); the second, 7.6 magnitude at 6:51 a.m. (5:51 p.m. ET); the third, magnitude 7.4, at 7:15 a.m. (6:15 p.m. ET).

The USGS also recorded a 5.4-magnitude quake at 6:19 a.m. (5:19 p.m. ET)

The last quake ran the deepest at 616 (382 miles) kilometers.

The epicenters of the quakes were about 100 kilometers (62 miles) off the coastal city of Cotabato and roughly 950 kilometers (590 miles) southeast of Manila.

No tsunami warning was immediately issued for any of the quakes.

There were no reports of damage, said Rona Faeldin of the Philippines Coast Guard.

I believe its already God's kind divine providence that these three earthquakes did not occur in the mainland. For the haters living their miserable, pathetic lives, I hope you live a long life on earth, because it will buy you time in really getting what you deserve.

My heart goes out to these people. We are seeing so much disaster all over the world!

Today we are living in a period of time like the days of Noah when there is no fear of God before men’s eyes (Rom. 3:18). The unsaved know the judgment of God is upon those who do such things as they do today, yet they not only do them but they have pleasure in them that do them (Rom. 1:32). They are treasuring up for themselves wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgments of God (Rom. 2:5).

What is even worse than this, if such could be the case, is that the saved have no fear of God before their eyes. You do not love someone you do not respect. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding” (Prov. 9:10; cf. 1:7). “The fear of the Lord is to hate evil” (Prov. 8:13). The early church had a correct godly fear of God, and this is the reason they went out and turned the world ‘right-side-up.’ Notice this in Acts:

Acts 2:42-43 And they were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. And everyone kept feeling a sense of awe; and many wonders and signs were taking place through the apostles.

Acts 5:5, 11 And as he heard these words, Ananias fell down and breathed his last; and great fear came upon all who heard of it. 6 And the young men arose and covered him up, and after carrying him out, they buried him. 11 And great fear came upon the whole church, and upon all who heard of these things.

Acts 9:31 So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria enjoyed peace, being built up; and, going on in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it continued to increase. (cf. 19:17).

May God be pleased to use these pages to help stem the tide of fearlessness among believers today. “Let us have grace whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: for our God is a consuming fire” (Heb. 12:28-29). “Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another: and the Lord hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the Lord, and that thought upon his name” (Mal. 3:16).

All you people who are making fun of God...you will bow down one day to the Lord, every knee must bow and claim that Jesus is Lord. These are the end of days...how long we don't know, but we also know it could be anytime, we are responsible for every word out of our mouth...I can see from some of the post just what the Lord said in his word, many will cry Lord, Lord and he will say "depart" I NEVER KNEW you.. making fun of christians that care about others and pray and believe is very serious stuff, there is the one true God, he watches, records and blesses or curses, you only get to places heaven or hell all will live forever in one of the places...

I believe that Philippinesl have many Christian people
let us run the race for our Lord Jesus who give His life to pay for our sins
Christians let us remain for being a salt in this place and let the word of God be heard by those
    who remain unsave... God speed

terrible another natural disaster we must focus our attention on. I personally feel pain for the pinoy people but it's known a average on 8000 earthquakes happen each year with that fact don't get so concerned with it yet keep them in your prayers as helping others is better than helping yourself.
