Obama: Sherrod deserved better

President Barack Obama said Thursday that Shirley Sherrod "deserves better than what happens last week when a bogus controversy ... led to her forced resignation."

"Many are to blame" for the reaction that followed, he said, "including my own administration."

Her whole story, Obama said he told Sherrod, "is exactly the kind of story we need to hear in America (because) we all have our biases."

The president made his remarks during an appearance at the National Urban League's 100th Anniversary Convention in Washington.

Watch as this poor victim's husband encourages a crowd of blacks to "stand up to the white man" and "vote black."

We are in a climate of "rush to judgement". Not checking out the whole story is scandalous. Shame on the USDA! All of us have opinions that can change. Heck, I used to be a Republican.

I trust Breitbart more than Ms Sherrod. How do we know how many white people Sherry Sherrod turned down or refused to help before she had a awakening. She thought that the white farmer thought HE was better than her. How can we verify that the white farmer that gave his statement in the video on TV is the one she was referring to. How convenient that someone was able to produce a video of the farmer so soon. No way should she get her job back.

She is a racist and she takes lessons from her husband. There was a video of her husband Charles Sherrod, speaking to a class in VA this year on CNN on Anderson Cooper, reported by a black reporter Joe Johns. Mr Sherrod says "Uncle Toms" meaning blacks who are in office and who do not believe the way he does and should be voted out.

Shirley Sherrod won a lawsuit this month when she sued the government and suddenly got offered a job in that department, WOW is this possible in the transparent administration.
