Leak fixed on oil well cap; 'static kill' test can begin

A leak on the new cap on the ruptured well in the Gulf of Mexico has been fixed, paving the way for a test to determine whether the "static kill" operation can be conducted, a BP official said on Tuesday.

The static kill maneuver involves pumping heavy mud into the well through the cap on the well's riser at the ocean floor.

.......Deficiencies in the management of UCIL were also identified. There was a lack of skilled operators due to the staffing policy, there had been a reduction of safety management due to reducing the staff, there was insufficient maintenance of the plant and there were only very loose plans for the course of action in the event of an emergency.[4][23]

.......sounds like the Indian government was the main culprit in this disaster.

I want to put a question up. Are the Gulf of Mexico currents at a standstill?
News item…Oceanographic satellite data now shows that the Loop Current in the Gulf of Mexico has stalled as a consequence of the BP oil spill disaster. This according to Dr. Gianluigi Zangari, an Italian theoretical physicist, and major complex and chaotic systems analyst at the Frascati National Laboratories in Italy.

People interested in the clean-up. I would like you to inquire about the Effective Dissolved Oxygen Injection for Aquatic Ecosystem Restoration that this company BlueInGreen • Anna McCain • 479-527-6378…

…is offering to improve dead zones in natural water. If part of the twenty-billion BP monies could be spent to hire a million boats with decontaminate water filter machines and with the Effective Dissolved Oxygen Injection for Aquatic Ecosystem Restoration machines to cleanse all the water and to improve the water from dead zones to living zones in the Gulf of Mexico. You also need to clean up (decontaminate) the waters of this devastation from the under-sea oil plumes and the dispersant chemicals. Decontaminate water filter machines must be included with your water cleansing treatments.
