South Korean maneuvers draw threat from North

A South Korean navy ship participates in drills in the Yellow Sea this week.

Just two weeks after joint drills with the U.S. Navy, South Korea's military is carrying out five days of military exercises in the Yellow Sea.

The South Korean navy, army, air force and marines are practicing techniques for detecting and evading North Korean submarines and guided missiles, South Korea's Yonhap news agency reported Saturday. The exercise involves 20 ships and 4,500 troops, according to Yonhap.
The sinking of a South Korean warship in late March, in which 46 sailors died, was attributed to a North Korean submarine attack. The North calls the accusation "a fabrication."

North Korea said Friday it would "react with strong physical retaliation to the anti-submarine drill to be staged by the group of traitors in the West Sea," according to the official Korean Central News Agency.

"Our warnings are not empty rhetoric," said Rodong Sinmun, the newspaper of the North's ruling Workers' Party, according to Yonhap.

When will the North Korean government say "Enough" and get rid of mentally ill dictator? North Korea has suffered way too much because of this evil and selfish man. The rest of the world would recognize and support any responsible coup that would other throw this despot.

Well, when you are indoctrinated *from birth*, and literally everything on the 2 tv channels you get is all propaganda about the "Dear Leader" – and you are not allowed access to the outside world, or even to have cellphones etc., you don't overthrow anything.
People with that level of brainwashing do not question, they follow. Until they start seeing how the rest of the real world lives.

North Korea is the model of a nation that rules through mental illness. Look at N. Korea, it looks like the interior landscape of Kim Jung Il's mind. Detachment, delusion, and paranoia are the clear signs of his defective why is he still in a leadership role? Those who make up the N. Korean leadership must feel an embarrassing humiliation every time they put their heads to rest every evening.

The threats of retaliation are probably meant more for the ears of North Koreans than the United States and South Korea. The regime is desperate.

In addition to communicating with the local Air Traffic Control facility, all
aircraft in the Persian Gulf AOR are required to give the Iranian Air Defense
Radar (military) a ten minute 'heads up' if they will be transiting Iranian
This is a common procedure for commercial aircraft and involves giving them your
call sign, transponder code, type aircraft, and points of origin and
This is a conversation which was overheard on the VHF Guard (emergency)
frequency 121.5 MHzwhile flying from Europe to Dubai . It's too good not to pass

    The conversation went like this.....
Iranian Air Defense Radar:'Unknown aircraft you are in Iranian airspace..
    Identify yourself.'
Aircraft:'This is a United States aircraft. I am in Iraqi airspace.'
Air Defense Radar:'You are in Iranian airspace. If you do not depart our
airspace we will launch interceptor aircraft!'
Aircraft:'This is a United States Marine Corps F/A-18 fighter. Send 'em up, I'll
Air Defense Radar:(no response ..... total silence)
    God bless our troops.

"Our warnings are not empty rhetoric." – Hah! They give 'strong warnings' about everything under the sun down there. I can't wait for the day NK falls. It's coming. I don't condone war, nobody wants to see war over there because it will be terribly messy, but it's going to happen sooner or later. May as well get it over with, then we can quit listening to their empty rhetoric.

North Korea didn't sink the south korean ship. Weird how the ship sunk right before the reelection of the south korean hardliner president weird how they would not let north korean investigators even look at the evidence. ya north korea is a joke but south korea's politicians are no different then western politicians in that they take full advantage of all crisis and emergencys and pass rules and regulations to further there political party's interests and to get votes.
