I am totally disappointed in your morning fill-in, Carol Costello. While discussing the Dr. Laura racial issue, she had the gall to say...."Well, at least she apologized because she doesn't do that often." She made this comment as if to say Dr. Laura apologized, so that should be good enough. Why does CNN even have her on their show. She then gave another "personal opinion" concerning Tiger Woods when she said...."I am so sick of the Tiger Woods story." I watch CNN because you all are not like other news programs. You give "straight" news. You don't lean to the left or the right; good or bad; you give both sides of the issue and this is what I admire about your news program. Most of the time, your reporters don't give their personal opinions about a story and they should not. John Roberts and Kiran Chetry (pardon me for butchering her name) are superb reporters who report the news and leave their personal opinions at home. I don't want to know how a reporter feels about a certain issue. Just do what you are hired to do – report the news no matter who the news is about. Carol Costello does not exemplify the class, intelligence and professionalism that I have come to respect and admire in CNN reporters. She should be reprimanded for her unprofessionalism and instructed that she is not to give her personal opinion on any issue; just report the news. What's wrong with the news reporters of today? They have completely forgotten how important their job is and that voicing their personal opinion is a detriment to their profession and to the public.
