Egyptian authorities have recovered a stolen painting created by Vincent Van Gogh, nabbing the suspected thieves just moments before they were to board a plane and flee the country, according to Egypt's official news agency, MENA.

The newscrawl on CNN (as of noon Pacific Time, Sunday) keeps claiming the painting has been recovered. It hasn't been, nor has anyone been arrested: the Italians targeted earlier weren't involved. Egyptian news sources now claim that four Spaniards are being investigated. I suspect they were part of the same i tour the Italians were on that visited the museum. That tour group may have been the only official visitors for the day: only ten people are said to have passed through.
