    – there should be a casing to secure erosion
    – transporting them out @ a 2150 ft – they have to be transported out by a capsule for safety – one at a time how many story is a 2150 ft, – equipped with walkie takies I'm sure there will be a rail on the capsule so it will be stable – god bless them and who are saving them

Has anyone noticed how similar Santa Clause and the christian God are? I mean, really think about it:

Omnipotance: Santa "knows when you are sleeping, he knows when you're awake, He knows when you've been bad (sinning) or good"; God knows everything about you including your sins.
Thrones: When you see Santa represented in a mall (or sitting in a pic) he is sitting on something that coiuld only be called a throne! On top of that his throne is at the "North Pole" or the very top of the world with him sitting in judgement. When God sits on his throne the world is at his feet.
Gifts: Santa gives gifts or riches and treasure to the "good little boys and girls"; God gives gifts of riches and treasures to "good little boy and girl christians."
Omnipresence: Santa flies around the world in a single day, spending no more than 1/10,000 of a second in any place at any given time so might as well be everywhere at once; God is everywhere at once.
Homes: Santa lives in a wonderous workshop at the North Pole (the "top of the world") churning out gifts and rewards for the good; God lives in heaven (the "top of the sky"), lives in a lavish kindom that churns out gifts and rewards for the good christians.
Rewards/Punnishment: Both Santa and God give out rewards (that come in the form of treasures) for being good, and both give out punishment in the form of Fire (fire and brimstone (sulfur) and coal (high sulfur flamable substance))
Appearance: Elderly man, both uncountable years old, long white beards, jovial and pleasant with the good, wrathful towards that bad
Existance: The existance of both Santa and God have yet to be proven scientifically

And don't forget, in the Old Testament he did a lot worse than just had out fire and brimstone. He was known for throwing fits when he didn't get what he wanted and punished everyone.

Yes, god did drugs when he created the universe. That actually explains a great many things.

"Existance: The existance of both Santa and God have yet to be proven scientifically"

The lack of God's existence has also not been proven scientifically either...

Do you know how many people died in Katrina because they chose to ride out the storm saying that the "good Lord" would watch over and protect them? How many huddled in churches thinking God would protect them only to have the church and themselves washed away. There is no God and people need to look out for themselves rather than relying on a mythical being to protect and guide them. Religion was created to form order, explain the unexplained and to give home and comfort in a time of loss and despair to weak minded individuals who could not cope with life. Since then it has been perverted for mans own needs and exploited for power and greed and has caused more wars than anything else in the history of man. People think in order to be a good person you must be religious. When prisons are full of religious people. Teach your kids right from wrong and to be strong and rely on their own abilities and judgments and not wait for a super hero to save them. It's not God who's saving the miners. It's a group of dedicated men and women on the service and the miners own perseverance and faith in the rescuers that are saving them plain and simple...

Let's try something that a lot of people have been doing for years. If you don't like people praising God, ignore it. Post your comments about the article. This isn't a discussion about someone's religious beliefs. There are plenty of sites on the Internet that you can go to discuss your views.

I'm pretty sure that it wasn't God who made that hole. It was made by the hard working humans who have learned to have compassion for others. It is a trait of survival and I'm glad that we as a human species are working hard to save not only ourselves but others. I wonder what we will be like in another 50,000 years.
