The Mexican Elite are to blame for this. They welcomed the druglords into their cliques and treated them as if they gained their great wealth in an honorable way. Ignoring the fact these people are ruthless Hell bound murdering pieces of garbage who dress well. I say, let the Mexican Elites clean up their own mess and stop sending us their poor while they are at it.
We have some tanks and jets we can sell them though. Actually it's just trading them for oil. Which leads to the following fact.
They are blackmailing us, literally. That's why no fence has been built.

I keep saying that its only a matter of time before that mess spills over into our country. And those people won't care who gets in their way. Be border patrol, police or civilians. Build that wall and fortify it!! Who cares if somebody gets offended? We are protecting own! Question. Doesn't that fall under national security??? Lets pass around some dunce hats to all the political dummys!

No one should consider visiting Mexico until the country gets a handle on this ever-increasing violence. That said: as long as Americans consume illegal drugs and sell weapons and munitions to anyone with money this madness will continue.
