Plane bound for Hawaii delayed after threatening call

A threatening call forced the delay of a Hawaiian Airlines flight out of Los Angeles, an airline spokesman said early Friday.

The Boeing 767 with 225 people onboard was bound for Honolulu on Thursday, but was delayed for two hours, according to spokesman Keoni Wagner.

Authorities searched the plane and re-screened passengers, but found no credible threat, he said.

No more information was immediately available.

I wonder why the "terrorists" don't make a few of these threatening cals to airlines daily. Or why, if they really want US dead, they don't simply poison our unguarded water supplies. That would be a lot easier than training pilots, hijacking planes, etc. Have you folks ever wondered about this?

Because one big attack has a large impact. Plus they took out an American icon building when it was least empty It's not just about killing people.

Seriously, what we should do is to ask those people living in terrorist areas that don't want anything to
do with violence to take their personal belongings and leave. After a one week period, the area should be
saturated with "SEAL and RANGER teams with orders; don't take any prisoners.

JAY, the "icon building"? The Pentagon is the icon, yet the media never shows the video of flight 77 crashing into it. They show US video of the Towers being hit over and over and over, but never once video of the Pentagon crash. Ever wonder why?

The impact of poisoning LA's aquaduct would make the Towers incident look like a cartoon.

Hey CNN! Show us video of flight 77 hitting the Pentagon! 9/11 victims families sued the gov. under the "freedom of information" act and the video has been released finally. Why won't you show it to US?

I'm surprised the person on the plane didn't get an A$$ whippin for making people late for their Hawaiian vacation

Yaeger, no it would not take that much poison. Even orange water color along with a threat would send people in L.A. running for their lives. And think for a minute...consider the thousands of lakes that feed communities throughout the country. All of them unguarded. How hard could it be to use the most ancient form of espionage: poisoning your enemies water. reply?
