Men allege sexual coercion by prominent Atlanta pastor

Two Georgia men have filed suit claiming that prominent Atlanta pastor Eddie Long coerced them into sex.

The suits, filed Tuesday in DeKalb County, Georgia, allege that Long used his position as a spiritual authority and bishop to coerce young male members and employees of his New Birth Missionary Baptist Church into sex.

"Defendant Long has a pattern and practice of singling out a select group of young male church members and using his authority as Bishop over them to ultimately bring them to a point of engaging in a sexual relationship," the suits allege.

Long is considered one of the nation's top black preachers. Long spokesman Art Franklin said Tuesday that "we categorically deny the allegations."

In the end Pastors, ministers and clergy are human as well and have a choice to sin or not...They will have to answer to God for their actions..just as we all will!

I suggest that we all wait and see the hand of God in this matter. We humans have no clue about what God is doing nor do we know why, because His ways are not our ways. Stop all the speculating and Pastor bashing.

People are so quick to cast judgement on someone on a situation that they know nothing about. We base our beliefs on sensational headlines, often times without hearing the evidence first. I am not saying that he is innocent, but I am not condemning him guilty either. I'd rather wait until evidence appears; like phone records, receipts, bills from these so-called expensive gifts. Until then, I pray that justice will be served for both parties involved. But as a Christian, this does not shake my faith AT ALL. Some of the biggest sinners are imposters who wear the cloth and pretend to know God. But God weighs your heart, and he is MERCIFUL, and in the end...all will be held accountable for the actions that they do in life, the paths they have chosen, and the routes they take . GOD IS REAL AND SO IS JESUS, TO ALL YOU NON BELIEVERS. CORRUPTED religion for personal gain, is where we go wrong. GOD is still in control and in the midst of all things. GOD also lives in your heart, therefore you must treat others as you would have them treat you . The old African adage still rings true: YOU REAP WHAT YOU SOW. Whether it comes back on you, or someone you love. We should not be quick to worship material things of this world because they hinder us in the long run. There is nothing wrong with having goals, and living comfortably and being successful. God wants his people to prosper. However, when we get to the point where money becomes our conscious...we get in serious trouble! Oh well, i digress...as i do this, I wait on the outcome of this situation. *Team OBAMA*
