Fourth lawsuit filed against Pastor Eddie Long

A fourth lawsuit has been filed against Atlanta-area Pastor Eddie Long,
alleging he coerced a 15 year-old into sex during a trip to Africa.

The man named in the new suit says he first met the pastor at his church in Charlotte, North Carolina. The improprieties continued after he moved to Atlanta at the behest of Long to attend a local university, he said.

A spokesman for Long denied the allegations. He has denied similar allegations of impropriety from 3 other men.

"Our position about the lawsuits has not changed. Bishop Long categorically deny the charges. We believe that it is unfortunate the young men have chosen to take this course of action. The defense team will review the complaints and respond accordingly at the appropriate time and in the appropriate forum," Art Franklin said.

I remember while attending Chapel Hill Harverster another mega church about 10 minutes from bishop longs church, When things started happening there and hear say start flowing, The bishop had everyones support, I mean everyone and over the years and the authorities got involved and the more stuff came out and the Bishop finally appologized it was devastating, but for the longest the bishop denied everything, so all I say to people now is he's a bishop with many followers BUT he's still a HUMAN BEING and in this day and time NOTHING SURPRISES ME.

Just because he is a preacher does not make him infalliable. He is just as human as the rest of us. He probably did it and would more than likely do it again if no one were looking. We tend to give preachders the benefit of the doubt or more chances just because they are preachers. If he were a politician or athlete, he would have already been stoned and found guilty a hundred times over without a jury. New Zealand with a teenager is a little extreme. Any man who wants to spend time alone with young boys and no one else is suspect in my opinion. Preacher or not. Sorry.

I agree. Anyone who takes young men to various corners of the world must be up to something. Did the teen just happen to say he always wanted to go to New Zealand? Maybe Pastor Long is a member of NAMBLA.

That's the problem, we give religious folks too much credit. Religion doesn't make you good just like atheism doesn't make you bad. He's a human and a pretty sick one from the sounds of it.

Since these men-of-god so passionately preach about hell, they should be made to experience it here, every minute of their remaining lives for others to see and for them to realize to put their money where their mouth is.
I am sure they when they eventually meet their maker they will have another out-of-this-world experience in that hell as well but we won't have the comfort of knowing it and seeing them suffer.

This guy and all the others like him, in every religion, who prey on the young and innocent deserve tio ROT, NO EXCEPTIONS

Let us be careful with judging based on such allegations. This is a man of God. Let us pray for him, not talk about him. Let the facts be shown.

it should be a simple matter for each of these accusers to provide a detailed description of the pastor's personal parts (size, shape, color, unusual marks, angle of ere*tion, etc.). If these young man have actually witnessed the pastor in 'action', they should be able to identify the relevant parts. And, iIf the cops took pictures of Michael Jackson, why not take pictures of Long?

It truely suprise me how many christians have jumped in on the devils work. Every christian right now should be in prayer about this matter, not gossiping or playing privite investigator. This is a extremely serious matter which will have a long and deep fall out, not just for bishop long but the christian church...if he did do these things the lord will handle it..right now we need to be praying for bishop long, his family, those young men, and the church in general!...Do the right thing folk, and not help the devil in his handy work
