Judge puts Lohan back behind bars

Lindsay Lohan arrives at the Beverly Hills courthouse Friday.

Lindsay Lohan was taken out of a Los Angeles courtroom in handcuffs after a judge ordered she be returned to jail until late next month.

The 24-year-old actress is scheduled to remain in jail until her probation violation hearing October 22.

Lohan served 13 days in jail and 23 days in rehab for a 2007 drunk driving conviction and was released on probation last month.

Her supervised probation required counseling, behavior therapy and random drug tests, and Lohan tweeted last week that she had "regrettably" failed her most recent drug test.

I just don't get it, my 23 year old daughter was arrested for riding a bicycle when she was high on marijuana , she hit a parked car ( nobody was hurt) and I paid to have the car fixed. She lost her drivers license for 1 year and was sentenced to 30 days in jail( which she served). She was then put on probation for 18 months and monthly drug testing. Well she failed her 5th test for marijuana(the first 4 tests she passed) and is now in prison for 13 months.

Tom. She has to put in jail for two reasons.
    1. She has a history of driving an automobile while being intoxicated.
    2. She didn't learn her lesson from being put in jail the first two times because they let her go free early. Many days early the last time. And the first time she served 84 minutes because of jail overcrowding!
These two conditions of not caring about the safety of others and her thinking she can avoid being punished entirely make her dangerous and misinformed.
She must be jailed until she has realized it's best she change her behavior.
