Judge sets bail for Lindsay Lohan at $300,000

A California judge has set bail for actress Lindsey Lohan at $300,00, a few hours after another judge ordered her into jail for failing a court-ordered drug test, a Los Angeles Superior Court spokesman said.

Earlier Friday, Judge Elden Fox ordered Lohan jailed for four weeks without bail while she awaited a probation revocation hearing scheduled for October 22.

Lohan was led out of Fox's courtroom in handcuffs.

In response to a writ of habeas corpus filed on Lohan's behalf, Judge Patricia Schnegg set bail at $300,000, Los Angeles Superior Court spokesman Allan Parachini said.

Lohan must wear an alcohol-detection device after bail is posted, Los Angeles Superior Court spokesman Allan Parachini said.

Oh, good. So she's STILL not going to learn her lesson and, in the meantime, she's out on OUR roads!!! Spoiled human being who needs REAL help, such as STAYING in prison, STAYING in long-term rehabilitation, having constant drug testing...

Well, I donno. Just exactly does the court system do with the "bail' $$. Does she get that back?
If not, then hell there the REAL reason they keep letting her out.... Everytime she goes out, she drops 100,000.00 or so, now it's up to 300,000.00. Maybe the judges are not as dumb as they seem........
Heck, that's almost 1/2 mil in a coupla months here. Thought she was broke? Looks like she's getting poorer though....
At the end of the day, I hope she can overcome this and hopefully will still have some $$$ for herself whenever she sobers up....

She just has a substance dependency problem. If she were allowed to hit bottom, she'd turn her life around. Interference from her parents and lawyers are not helping things. To them I say: 'Leave her to the consequences, she will recover and you will get more of that money you want. You like the money dont you?"

To be honest her as* needs some time. Its obvious she hasn't learned her lesson after the first warnings. Smh, if an ordinary person went through this they wouldn't even bat an eye before deny bail smh it makes me sick!!!

I feel that ANYONE forced to wear a bracelet requiring them to submit a test that details one's "alcohol content" (a legal substance in the US) is a violation of "our" 5th amendment right to self. I also feel that Lohan, although an embarrassment to ALL americans is an example of how dumb people who collectively believe something is "wrong" can imprison an individual against their rights.
