Pakistan: NATO choppers breached U.N. rules

Pakistan strongly protested Monday against NATO helicopter incursions into its territory from Afghanistan, calling them "a clear violation and breach" of the United Nations rules for foreign forces in Afghanistan.

NATO helicopters have chased insurgents into Pakistan at least twice in the past few days, the International Security Assistance Force acknowledged Monday.

That is not allowed, Pakistan's Foreign Ministry said in a strongly worded statement.

The United Nations "mandate terminates/finishes at the Afghanistan border. There are no agreed hot pursuit rules," the ministry said.

US/NATO have failed in Afghanistan and have now decided to start a new war in Pakistan. This is a dangerous line NATO has crossed as their version of events cannot be verified or trusted.

So let me get this straight, just because America threw a couple of bucks at Pakistan, US Drones can strike within Pakistan, but NATO cant because they didnt give them any AID, LOL hahaha. That is too, funny. Bloody beggers, learn to stand on ur own too feet, and stop using the death of your own citizens as a way to receive more money Pakistan, cause that is just pathetic.

US should have made more clear that giving aid money was so that it could bomb Pakistan, we were under impression aid money was to help citizens and strengthen relations.

Pakistan can not afford this kind of incursions in its own territory. I think they need to adopt same policy as they did with Soveits. As far as starting a open war aganist PK, that is not going to happen. Nato knows the potential of Pakistan. I believe Pakistan has a declared policy that they wount attach any country but if they are attacked by country or an alliance of countries then, as long as they can stand the first blow they will fire their thermonuclear devices.

I think this is pathetic. It the terrorists can skip an run across the border with no consequences that is what they will do. With how much monetary support Pakistan gets from the West what they should be saying is: "We support these actions fully and appreciate the terrorists being pursued, caught, and/or killed. We can't support them using our border as a safe haven to run to."

Bangash, Afghanistan is a complete success. The pipelines running from the Caspian Basin thru afghan. to China have been flowing for some time now. And with troops there guarding them, we are assured of China continuing to give uS credit. If not for China, we wouldn't even be able to meet our social security obligations.

I can tell you this. If there was a bomb that killed only males age14 and over; then, it would have been used already in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
    Problem solved forever.

Hey Pakistan, maybe if you had used the billions of dollars we've provided you to hunt down terrorists in your own borders, we wouldn't have to do it for you. Stop whining about the 0 civilian casualties and thank us for making your country safer.

phil, if 4 Mexican Army pilots flew 2 Mexican Army helicopters across our border to fire upon fleeing terrorists, the outcome would be 4 Illegal Aliens starting up an air transportation business here with 2 new freshly painted helicopters.

No narcotics producing plantations equals no narcotics. The real question is why the US/Mexican governments don't go after the growers.
