Fort Hood: Four soldiers apparently killed themselves

Four soldiers from the Fort Hood Army base in Texas - all decorated veterans from the wars in Iraq or Afghanistan - died in the past week, a Fort Hood spokesman said Wednesday.

In all four cases, it appears the soldiers took their own lives, spokesman Christopher Haug said.

JR to Mike the idiot, you are as stupid as you are insensitive. Only a very very small number of soldiers commit war crimes or go beyond what we expect of them. @@@@ And maybe if America would stop fighting overseas and just defend America, the troops would not have ti be in the bu//shiit they are in now. They would be fighting FOR THEIR COUNTRY.

This is nothing new. There have been reports on all the major networks and in print media about the huge number of suicides by the armed forces in these wars. I know from talking to my grandson about Iraq that things were not as heroic as he always thought the American army to be. Our troops witness terrible things in those countries, some done by fellow soldiers. They all need counseling and recuperation when they come home, but don't always find it. People expect them to just go back to being like they were before serving and that is an impossible task.

'Flashbacks, Depression, Anxiety & Anger' in our soldiers is common. Why? Ask them and they will tell you true stories about innocents mostly being killed by them. Bring soldiers back!

Here, I'll do what CNN should have done (include at least -some- details from a reliable source):

AP (via the Houston Chronicle) The apparent murder-suicide of a soldier and his wife on Sunday is among a rash of suspected suicides in recent days at Fort Hood. Two other soldiers died in separate incidents on Saturday in what authorities are also classifying as suicides. Another soldier died from a gunshot on Friday in an incident off the base.

My friends father is a high level clearance in the military. When he watches the news any news station, cnn, fox, msnbc, and anything military related comes on all he does is say nope, incorrect, nope, that happened months ago, nope totally incorrect. I've never heard him say a news story on the military was correct, or up to date. Every military news story is either months behind, or happened a completely different way in real life.

Having that in the back of my head makes me curious about stories like these. Not saying there's a conspiracy or anything, but it's food for thought when taken in with investigative reporters saying the cia has been behind many mysterious deaths in our armed forces.

The citizens of this country should be ashamed of ourselfs!! Being in combat creates a level of fear and anxiety most can not begin to deal with.... It is our duty as amaricans to make sure the veteran is taken care of as long as neede after the return home.
