North Korea unveils rare photo of Kim Jong Il's son

Kim Jong Un, bottom left, and his father, bottom right center, are seen with the rest of the Workers Party of Korea's central military commission.

North Korea's state news agency has released the first photo of Kim Jong Il's youngest son since he was named vice chairman of the Workers Party of Korea's central military commission.

Little is known about Kim Jong Un. Only two photos of him consistently circulate in news reports outside of North Korea because he's been kept off the radar by the North.

Kim Jong Un, who is widely expected to be the successor to North Korea's "Dear Leader," was also named to the Central Committee of the party. Earlier, during the WPK  conference, the younger Kim became a four-star general, according to the state-run Korean Central News Agency.

This photo was taken with the entire body and new leaders of the WPK at Kumsusan Memorial Palace, Pyongyang reported.

The Workers Party of Korea last convened its delegates more than four decades ago.

Those people in the background look terrified. Watching, as their fate is passed from an old maniac to a younger one

The world's only combo commie-royal dynasty. I am pretty sure this is not what Marx, Engels, or Lenin had in mind about how Marxism should work. I seem to recall some marxist theory about the state "withering away"...not only did it never wither away for any communist government, in this case it has become a family business like the Mafia.

Notice how everybody else keeps their distance from the "dear leader". Maybe his kimchee dinner didn't agree with his lower intestinal tract and he was making "music" :0

Or maybe he's really dead behind those sunglasses and he's starting to get a bit 'ripe'.

The boy will the next leader. Personally I don't think it would be too far fetched to consider he could be the next antichrist everybody on the web is raving about [(2012)Nostradamus]. Just a thought. I'd still fight him.

I bet every single one of them carry a white flag in their pocket just in case.

His son will definitely be worse then his father. He is there to finish what his father could not do. His son will be the last of the N Korea party and their biggest failure yet.

What a bunch of losers. Like the big hats...LOL

The big hats are supposed to make them look taller and more imposing, just like Kim Jong Il's high-heel shoes.

Why don't the North Korean people revolt?!? They could topple this regime within a month. The army would probably join them. Kim, his family, friends and cronies all live the high life while untold numbers starve.

      1. They actually believe the Dear Leader is a deity.
      2. The government kills anyone even suspected of disloyalty. Neighbors and family members are constantly turning each other in – if security takes you away, you never come back.
      3. If North Korea was suddenly free, Communist China to the North and East would be inundated by millions of hungry Koreans pouring over the border. (We know about illegal immigrants).

Read the statistics on the web comparing the average height of a South Korean with that of a North Korean.

The truth is that Dear Leader is a pedophile – he prefers girls about 12 to 14.

Everytime I see Kim Jong Il I think of "Me So Ron-rey" in "Team America". Hilarious to everyone except the starving people of North Korea.
