Sources: Possible drone strike in Pakistan kills 8 Germans
Eight suspected German nationals were killed in a suspected drone strike in northwestern Pakistan, two Pakistani officials said Monday.
The strike happened in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan, the officials said. Missiles struck a building that eight suspected German militants were in,
the officials said.
The eight are believed to have been members of the group Jihad al Islami, the officials said.

Is this the message board where one can ask all Americans to explain and apologize for the actions of Timothy McVeigh, seeing as how he's white, christian and American and by the logic of most on this message board see birds of a feather flock together, then that would make all Americans terrorist that like to blow up buildings with little children in them.

They were just peaceful truth-seekers who got caught up in a bad Matt Damon movie.
Or maybe, they were just visiting a Pakistani outpost, asking for directions, while it was giving signals to helicoptors from the ground with machine guns.

Not all Muslims are terrorists, not all Muslims are Arabs, not all terrorists are Arabs, but Waziristan still has the most popular terrorist school.

Well, this does fit with the story of the Mumbai style attacks allegedly planned for Europe. In one of the articles it stated that they were training European passport holders so that they could easily infiltrate and carry out the attacks.
One day they find out some Germans are planning to attack and next day they find and kill them in Afghanistan!!!! 10 years and they can't find Bin Laden... hmmm
I don't understand how "German" Nationals could be a part of a Jihadist group... this is what they get for their lax immigration policies, that is the kind of people they are letting into their country.
Be careful with this line of logic. Terrorist (be it Islamic, Christian, whatever) live everywhere. We have terrorist cells living right here in America. They could be your neighbors, your co-workers, or the person in line behind you in the grocery store.

This was a nice precision strike (and I'm all about taking out the enemy wherever they hide), and our allies should do the same. But, how long before a missle fired by one of our allies detonates in a neighborhood in New Jersey (or L.A.) killing terrorists who just happen to be American citizens? That's going to be a difficult moment for many of us to come to grips with.
I would think the difficult thing would be noticing that NJ or L.A. were even hit in the first place.

As long as we are able to exercise our sovereignty over those areas, such would not be necessary. If we were informed of terrorist attacks being plotted on our allies by people in New York, and we knew who they were we would apprehend them and forestall such attack. The same is not true in Pakistan where parts have no law and order.
You know al Queda is struggling when theyre recruiting germans who already got whooped on 2 times by the US .. What next the Redcoat Islamic Militia ?
