Times Square bomb plotter sentenced to life in prison

A 30-year-old Pakistani-American was sentenced to life in prison Tuesday for attempting to detonate a vehicle bomb in Times Square this year.

Faisal Shahzad was defiant before a judge sentenced him Tuesday, saying "the defeat of the U.S. is imminent."

Shahzad pleaded guilty in June to all 10 counts in an indictment against him. At the time, he told the court, "I want to plead guilty 100 times because unless the United States pulls out of Afghanistan and Iraq, until they stop drone strikes in Somalia, Pakistan and Yemen and stop attacking Muslim lands, we will attack the United States and be out to get them."

When I say executed, I mean by using American ways of carrying out an execution. But with the speed that reflects the crime. That means the day after receiving the death penalty.
Not like California, a state that has turned crime and punishment into a business. Housing death sentence receiving criminals for 30 years, thus changing the judge's sentence to Life in prison. Disregarding dead victim's family, friends, neighbors and coworkers so they can give someone a paycheck.
One that would bounce from the Earth to the moon if cashed outside of California.

    Tick Tock.

I am fairly liberal and I also think that this guy deserves the death sentence.

alaskan 1st. What are you, naive? You actually believe if we execute one their terrorists, we should afraid other terrorists attack us. I have news for you, it makes no difference if we are nice to terrorists.
They must be killed or captured and never achieve a victory (successful attack). We accomplish that and eventually no one will join up with them. Because there will be no leadership and a sense of, what's the point?
Would you join a hunt club that never succeeds in getting their prey but the prey keeps successfully getting members of the hunt club?
