Officials: National Security Adviser to step down

The White House will announce Friday that National Security Adviser James Jones is stepping down, according to two senior administration officials.

Jones will be replaced by Deputy National Security Adviser Tom Donilon, the advisers said.

    Okay..so this guy was planning on leaving after 2 years anyways..he wanted to pull out of Afghanastan wich he saw as an "endless war" (true) and focus more on China and Iran (smart)...so what was the point of this guy even being there if the administration wasn't going to listen to him..He wasn't a "yes man" ..Donilon is a "yes man" and should fit in nicely in this administration

    OKAY..I APOLOGIZE..MY FACTS WERE TWISTED..Donilon is the one wanting to pull out of Afghanistan and focus more on China and Iran..so i apoligize for my facts being twisted..so maybe this might actually be a good change after all..once again i was quick to jump to "the gun"..no pun intended...
