NFL: We're looking at report about Favre

Controversy is brewing over alleged texts and voicemails Brett Favre sent to a woman who is not his wife.

The NFL has said its reviewing reports involving Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre after the sports Web site Deadspin posted naked pictures, text and voice messages it alleges the married quarterback sent to a model and former television host.

When asked about the allegations Friday, Favre declined to comment. Greg Aiello, an NFL spokesman, said the league is reviewing the matter, but declined further comment. CNN could not independently confirm whether the voice heard in the recordings belonged to Favre, or whether the notes were in fact sent by him. FULL STORY

why do women seem to always have the need to record a personal conversation with high profile actors or sports figures jand use this as a means for extortion purposes?

Ya know why Rome's gladiator games ended? It got to where the Roman government simply couldn't afford to put the show on. Our own gov. is even deeper in debt, but still manage to provide security at the games. How long will fans be able to afford going to live events? It seems to me that "the writing is on the wall". Professional sports are on their way to the boneyard. I'd like you all to just read a few excerpts from this book: "The Fix is In" and post your thoughts here. simply google it and spend a few moments reading. you will be amazed!

Back when Brett was still a Packer he had a Steak House in Milwaukee. His wife shut it down with no warning because of his womanizing. The employees were given something like 2 monthe pay as sererance.

Nice job CNN. Smearing a reputation, based on allegations, in order to create news. And why are you even talking about such trivial things, and when did the media become the morality police? I especially love when the netwoks ask, "why are we even talking about this," while they're talking about it, funny. In case you haven't noticed there's a lot going on in our country, and around the world. Wouldn't it be nice if CNN, and the other networks, simply reported news instead of taking sides, and making, or inciting, news stories? Call me cynical, but maybe news that actually affects most people, and that the public would actaullay care about. Nice job CNN, and you wonder why you're last in ratings.

after " throwing away" last nites game against the jets he should just go home and send text messages. is wife will not bother him because she will not be there. he should have retired when he left the packers. he would have left the game as a legend.
