Head of lead investigator in Falcon Lake case found

The severed head of the lead Mexican investigator in the Falcon Lake
case was delivered Tuesday in a suitcase to the Mexican military, Texas Rep. Aaron Pena told CNN.

However, a spokesman for the attorney general of Tamaulipas state in Mexico said he had not heard the report.

David Michael Hartley went missing September 30. His wife, Tiffany, told authorities her husband was shot and killed during a sightseeing trip on Falcon Lake, which bisects the U.S.-Mexico border in South Texas.

Show some respect Tiff at least pretend that you atleast feel pain and suffering. NOT ONE tear or sign of mourning have your displayed since your husband went missing. One tiny speck of blood is all you had on your lifejacket even after you went back to try to get your husbands dead body. WOW good one.

Okay people here need to wake up and realize that if there is a threat to the United States its because our drug addicts are the ones buying all these drugs. The consumers are just as much to blame as the producers. And Mexico is not a lawless country. Its lawless in respects to these cartels. Go to any city or state in Mexico and in the majority of Mexico people don't even care about what's going on up North because it doesn't involve them. Don't say all Mexicans are involved because that's not the case. Just like not all Americans are drug addicted pot heads.

Pot isn't a drug Einstein. It's a plant. One that has been cultivated for MANY reasons other then smoking for thousands of years. Even the US government set up hemp farms in the midwest during WW2 to provide hemp fiber. Educate yourself before you open your mouth. It's ignorance such as that that allows the fraudulent drug war to continue. Where do you think the billions of dollars in narco dollars gets laundered? WALL STREET!! Wachovia just got hit with mutli million dollar penalties for laundering the money. That has been going on for decades. Stop watching after school specials to get your information.

Okay people here need to wake up and realize that if there is a threat to the United States its because our Toy addicts are the ones buying all these Lead based toys. The consumers are just as much to blame as the producers. And China is not a lawless country. Its lawless in respects to these Lead based toy makers. Go to any city or state in China and in the majority of Chinese people don't even care about what's going to be shipped because it doesn't involve them. Don't say all Chinese are involved because that's not the case. Just like not all Americans are using lead based toys.

If you can stop people smoking then DO IT!! FORTY YEARS of prohibition couldn't stop them and I don't believe you can either. Anyway, we don't need to stop people smoking marijuana, we just need to stop them smoking CARTEL marijuana. Legalize – Save Lives!

Here's a great idea. If we're willing to send highly trained special ops troops half a world away to find and kill threats to our security, then why in the world aren't they a few hundred miles south doing the same thing? The thugs down there will only stop if they're met with superior force. Lets see. Who wins? US Special ops or drug gangs? Golly I wonder. Once again, the people are failed by their government who are more worried about politics then ENDING this insanity in the Southwestern US and Mexico. Give them the intelligence they need, point them in the right direction and wait for the dust to settle. End of story.

Why in the hell is CNN so focused on the murder on Falcon Dam...if you need news material come down south way down south and you will have many stories without bullet holes like tiffanys in them.

What is wrong with our government????? Are they that beholding to Mexico. They support illegals and make the rest of us feel, who obey the law, guilty and send our troops all over the world, but won't do a thing about our border. Their excuses are pathetic. They seem to protect everyone but the American Citizen.

Legalize Marijuana and STOP $10 BILLION a year being stolen by Mexico.

After FORTY YEARS of prohibition we've learned that we can't stop people smoking. We MUST legalize the production and sale of marijuana to adults with after-tax prices set too low for the cartels to match!

Still think we aren't in a war here? We need to be be building machine gun nests along the US – Mexican border and blow away anyone who dares try to cross into our country. Mexico is a hell hole. It isn't our fault, and it isn't our responsibility. It's time to quit with the political correctness and defend America's sovereignty.

    Think about it...

There are a lot of things that could be happening here. Maybe somebody wanted him dead, and figured this would be a good time to kill him and have someone else blamed.

Or maybe he was backing up a story he knew to be false, to get rid of his enemies.

Or maybe everything is true, and a gang of jet ski stealin' Mexicans are enforcing ruthless "no snitch" to hide the operation.

Or maybe two high Americans were playing around, ran into some Mexicans who were/were not drug dealers, and decided to start messin' with them.

Or maybe all of the above.

  14. Near the border

Some of you that are commenting are so far from the border that you have no idea what is going on . When the news first broke about the couple and their events, those of us living near the border knew who had killed him and why. Drug dealers, and to rob him. People have been warned, they were warned (they the couple) and some how we as U.S. citizens feel we have the right to do what we want. Not in Mexico waters, you don't. People are being killed daily, on the streets, while on vacations, the couple in Acapulco, and at parties. People along the poarder live in fear and don't have the resources to move or leave the country. We can not make demands like we did because you get the results that you got. An innocent Mexican investigator trying to help a family recover the body, was killed because U.S. reporters using their first ammendment right gave out his name, while a country without those rights, was listening. They the drug dealers don't care about any one, but themselves. People are seen hanging on the streets of Mexico as warnings, and still we want to inforce our Right to Bear Arms on a country without those rights. The drug dealers have
bought those rights. I challenge you in New York reporting to come spend some time in Brownsvill, Roma, McAllen, Laredo, El Paso and see what you discover is happening at our back door and we can't and don't do anything about it. Because as long as it doesn't happen to me no one wants to know about it. people like Meridth Vera came on and almost accused that women of doing the killing herself. Be we that hear about it regularly know that it is happening and will continue, even when you stop reporting it. Come I hope you do and see the reason people are not crossing the border to buy medicines,.
