Computer outage disrupts Continental flights

A computer outage grounded more than three dozen Continental Airlines flights on Wednesday, the airline said.

About 40 departures were disrupted because of the two-hour outage, said airline spokeswoman Christen David.

"It was a small percentage of our total daily departures nationwide," David said.

Flights resumed shortly after 10 p.m. ET, she said.
