Georgetown drug lab busted

A drug lab was discovered in a Georgetown dorm.

Some students at Georgetown University are trying to understand how someone could have operated a drug lab in a dorm room at the school.

"I would understand if someone got caught doing it. Making it, that's different. It's shocking," 19-year-old sophomore Gina Park told the Washington Post.

Saturday morning two Georgetown University students and a campus visitor - all male - were arrested in connection to a suspected drug lab found inside a dormitory, said D.C. Metro Officer police said. All are at least 18.

They are facing charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, said Officer Hugh Carew, a police spokesman.  None were identified.

Police received a call shortly before 6 a.m. about a foul odor at Georgetown's Harbin Hall. Initially, police thought the lab was for producing meth, but later said it was used to make Dimethyltryptamine, a hallucinogenic drug commonly known as DMT.  FULL STORY

Just say No! This country is killing itself from within with this drug use. How are we going to defend ourselves when we get invaded by terrorists? We are being fed drugs from other countries. That will weaken this country until we can't defend ourselves. Our forefathers will turn over in their graves! Just say NO to drugs and keep this country safe and a free country. With terrorists getting into this country to take over us, how will we defend ourselves if we're strung out on drugs? Think about it, America! Just say No!

By the way, anybody caught making drugs, whether in this country or not, should be sentenced to death! You don't want your family endangered by what you think is a "harmless" drug. They are ALL harmful in one way or another. Wake up!

Well if they should be sentenced to death for making DMT, then you should too, in fact everyone in the world should because you and everyone else makes DMT every day. Its a natural chemical produced by the human brain every night when you're asleep.

Wake up! I don't want people feeding my kids crack, speed, heroin, alchohol etc... I am level headed enough to know when our tax dollars are being wasted. They've already said "no one was in danger" we're talking about extracting a substance from a plant, not mixing windex and sudaded! @ tomcat, OG Cush, skywalker, Bubba Cush ")

I feel drugs aren't bad but over indulgers are. they cause all types of problems in the usa like obesity, bankruptcy ect. so don't blame those that make it accessible, blame those that over do it. n if ur child niece or nephew or on drugs, u failed as a parent n may want to hook up wit the ivy league'rs n ask their founding fathers to help u control life like they did. or u can shake their hands on fall street, I mean wall street. @duke b careful tmcat writes like a pig. .

Chron, Dro, Kush, Mary, Green, You know. I apologize for not ever hearing of DMT. I used to party a few years back and even then I've never heard of it. Either way someone complained of fumes in the hallway which suggests they were using harsh chemicals. Now people are supposed to know the difference between acetone and supposedly harmless chemicals?

Hey duke you seem like a winner. Wanna hang out? Anytime you're in the Detroit area I'd be happy to meet you in a dark alley. The mostly black police force here won't respond to your 9-11 call either. Muahahah

Too bad these people used their intelligence to do something illegal, immoral and unethical. But, then someone developed the atomic bomb, weaponized anthrax and so on..... Probably NOT the affirmative action students.....LOL
